Great tasting strong flavor and wonderful diuretic.This is for DANDELION ROOT TEA. Please Amazon--stop lumping all tea reviews in together!!Anyways-- This is a tea I keep repurchasing over and over. GREAT diuretic, gentle and super natural. Tastes very strong and nutty. Perfect for coffee or black tea lovers. Help my puffy fingers, helps pos weight gain, helps you poop--sorry tmi--contains tons of minerals (so I've read online) and it's one of my FAV herbs of all time. In my top five fav teas.This company is also very trustworthy. I love traditional medicinals.5Excellent antifungal digestive supportThank goodness for this product - love both the company and the product. This is a key part of my antifungal regimen to keep Candida Albicans knocked down to a more balanced level in the gut. Taste is just so so, don't love it or hate it, but it's pleasant enough to where it's my few cups a day regular tea for now (I reuse the bag for day so it's not crazy strong or anything). I noticed my belly literally shrink down two inches once I started back on this tea (and did a few other minor diet tweaks).5Awesome for hormonal acneI buy this in the six-pack because I go through it.Honestly, I don't especially love the taste, but you do get used to it. Like many of the other reviewers here, I drink this because I have (had, thanks to this tea!!) gross hormonal acne that popped up along my jawline and the sides of my chin. (Unlike many reviewers, I'm female but I don't have PCOS, just terrible skin.) I had read somewhere that people take spironolactone for this type of acne, and had resigned myself to waiting until my insurance plan year was up so that I could go see a dermatologist, then I read on SkincareAddiction that people sometimes use spearmint for the same! Apparently it binds off with the excess androgen. For this reason, I wholeheartedly recommend this to women but I'm not sure what would happen to men if they took it, since androgen is a male hormone....I found this product first in a local natural foods store and dove in, starting with two cups a day and tracking the number of blemishes in that area. (I am neurotic.) The first day, I had 27 blemishes. The tenth day, I had five. By then end of the first month, I had no blemishes along my jawline--at that point, as much for expense as for anything else, I scaled down to one cup a day and found that was effective for maintaining my new clear skin. I've been at this for about six months now, I'm finally eligible to go to the dermatologist and I won't bother now. Incidentally, I didn't find that it had much effect on the rest of my face--other than this hormonal stuff, I break out when I deserve to (falling asleep with makeup on, a weekend of crappy eating) and the spearmint didn't effect that either positively or negatively.I buy this in the six-pack online because it's quite difficult to find in stores! The first box that I bought was the only such box in that health food store, and I had to supplement with Bigelow's Mint Medley, which was a mix of different mints, and as far as I can tell only the spearmint has this effect. I saw faster improvements when I was drinking the pure spearmint.5We are very pleased, I even gave some to my dad because ...Lowered my husbands blood pressure 30 points ! Would recommend this tea for this purpose .5Made a huge difference in my labor experience!I started drinking this when I was 34 weeks pregnant with my fifth pregnancy. I am not at all a tea person and was a little gaggy drinking it initially but after the first few days that went away.I truly believe this helped significantly, I did not have a bunch of Braxton Hicks's like with previous pregnancies. Once I was in active labor and went to the hospital I was already dilated to 7/8cm when I would typically be at 4 or 5. After my midwife broke my water, I had my baby within 20 min, she came out faster than what they were expecting, I had to fling the blankets off myself. My contractions were much more efficient, very happy overall with my experience. I typically have to walk for 4 hours at the hospital after my water is broke and bypassed all that this time. I would definitely recommend to any expecting mother.5A MIRACLE FIND.This product was first purchased and sent to my brother in CA who has about 50% of kidneys function with high bilibrium and creatinine that was very high proping his DR to recomend dialysis but a miracle happened when he decided to drink this TEA and his last LAB result came down from 17 to 3.7 and the DIALYSIS was canceled. PRAISE the LORD.5My tea for inflammationI like this tea. I drink nettle tea for inflammation. I believe that it is helping me and takes the edge off the pain that I have in my joints. It has a very mild flavor. I'm able to drink it without sugar or any sweetener. I recommend it. I would buy it again. I have an autoimmune disease called Sjorgrens syndrome and it helps with inflammation as it contains Nettle leaf as well.
