Strong fragrance, light flavorI m still in search of the perfect organic Lapsang, but this will keep me going me till I find it. The leaves are large and curly. The smoky fragrance is wonderfully pungent when you open the package. But the taste is only lightly smoky call it mellow or weak, depending how your taste buds judge it.But I will say this Lapsang blends well with other teas. When I combine it with organic Yunnan, for example, it makes an acceptable Russian Caravan.The fact that this tea is organic is important to me. Conventional tea growers use a lot of pesticides. But I would prefer a stronger flavor.3Organic keemun is undistinguishedCompared to other high-quality keemuns I've tried, this organic brew is bland and undistinguished. It lacks the distinctive qualities -- burgundy, floral, dark chocolate, or smoky notes -- of typical keemuns and has a flat taste profile similar to Lipton and other commercial tea bags. Additionally, I emailed the company requesting info on ideal brewing instructions -- most keemuns want boiling water and a 3 to 5 minute brew time, but some require lower temps and shorter brew times -- but didn't get an answer. For real keemun fans, there are much better teas out there.2High quality, rich tasting green tea at a great priceI've been on a kick of trying different green teas and trying to get away from the bagged stuff and doing the better loose leaf thing. This stuff is really top notch and way cheaper than what you'd pay at Teavana. That place really rips people off and smart shoppers should get wise to other sellers like Greenhill Tea. They've delivered a great tea that's high quality and can be steeped several times which is the sign of the best. This tastes like a very green, leafy tea that's deceptively strong. The most noticeable thing about this tea is that it has a kind of popcorn scent and flavor that may not appeal to everyone. It reminds me of eating popcorn after school growing up, which was always nice. Don't base your tea strength on color because this stuff won't get that dark while it will still have a powerful flavor. Be sure to steep no longer than 2 or 3 minutes since it becomes bitter after that. I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I hope it helps!5Great teaI like good tea but I'm certainly not an expert. Tea shouldn't be in bags and decent tea isn't. I read something about this tea and decided to try it. I really like this tea. It's a lovely light tasting tea and a beautiful color. I've been trying to find the other gong Fu teas, Tan yang gong Fu tea and Zheng he gang Fu tea. I can't fin them on Amazon or anywhere. Meanwhile this is my tea. I wish it less expensive.5Not so much anymore.......So glad Amazon started offering this again2017 May - This is the second time I ordered this product. I had to downgrade the stars from 5 to 2 due to the significant reduction in quality from my first order to this one. I really hope the batch I recently received was mislabeled because I hate to think that Margaret's Hope Darjeeling has drop in quality this much. I've had better Lipton teas. I will be scrutinizing the reviews to see if the quality has returned before I reorder. It's a shame. This WAS a very good tea. I hope the quality returns soon. I miss my Darj in the morning.2014 - My first online tea purchase was 5 years ago with one lbs of Margaret's Hope Darj. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and value. Unfortunately, Amazon stopped offering it soon after. I switched to a Darj from Davidson and Coffee Bean. Both of those were adequate. I wasn't impressed but both were cheaper so they were still a decent value. I was happy to see Amazon start to offer a Margaret's Hope Darj again. And it's a 2nd flush!! The aroma is everything I expected from a high quality Darj. Also, the complex flavors make it interesting each morning. Some times I taste a hint of peach some times apricot. Of all the 4 versions of Darj I've purchased, this one is the best. Even the original M Hope Darj wasn't as good. Maybe the 2nd Flush made the difference. (The first version wasn't labeled as 2nd Flush.) I hope Amazon continues to offer this particular M Hope tea. It's even reasonably priced...for the quality. I'm getting more soon.2I can understand why this is a famous green teaThis product listing includes multiple tea varieties, and I have sampled two.The Liu An Gua Pian Melon Slice Green Tea has a beautiful appearance. Please note, for those who scrolled too quickly past the seller description, that it is named "Melon Slice" for the adorable curved shape of the tea leaves, not because it has a melon flavor. This is a pure green tea, without any additions. It has a wonderful full-bodied, but gentle flavor, and just a whisper of sweetness. The flavor and aroma are wonderful, certainly that of a fine green tea that should be savored and steeped multiple times. I was happy to discover this famous Chinese tea variety - it has caused me to think more deeply about renown green tea varieties and what makes them special.The Almond Black Tea is, generally speaking, in the school of the much-loved English Breakfast Tea, a bold and well-rounded tea that provides a firm-footed start to your morning, and has enough backbone for dunking biscuits. By no means would I describe the almond flavor as heavy-handed. It's more like an undercurrent of sweet almond that you wouldn't detect unless you were thinking about it. I think Green Hill describes it as a marzipan flavor because it's more sweet than nutty. Almond flavors blend so well that it makes sense that it isn't a very shouty addition.I simultaneously ordered 4 teas from Green Hill Tea and they all arrived in practical reclosable freshness bags, well-labeled with the names and descriptions of each tea. The tea leaves were in perfect condition, fresh, unbroken, and visually stunning. In every case they held up well to at least 3 steeps.I was fortunate to receive these beautiful teas at a discount in return for my review.5I love this teaI hope they bring the prices down a little bit, since I want to be a life long customer!! I love this tea!Update: 12/26/16 - I have been ordering this tea ever since my last review, and in between the strength of the tea went downhill. And hence I contacted the customer service, and the were nice enough to send me couple of bags for free to try it again. And those two packages were the best I received!I'll keep ordering from them as long as the quality stays the same, and prices are reasonable. Yes I still love this tea, best I came across so far! Hope this helps!5Good Pu-erh for the price and quantityI've only had a few cups but like the taste and aroma. It isn't quite as strong as I like, but still a good tea. Although this is a ripe Pu-erh, it reminds me more of raw Pu-erh because of the milder taste and lighter color. My favorite cup of tea is a teaspoon each of Pu-erh, Gunpowder green, and White peony in a 16oz. mug. This elixir gets my eyes open in the morning and always starts my day out right. Hot tea is my favorite drink and I will definitely add this nice Pu-erh to my list of regulars.5Is Dragon well tea has a great flavor but......I have been ordering this Dragonwell Tea for quite sometime now and really like the flavor. I use to buy from Teavana until they closed. I searched for one with a comparable flavor and then I found this one. Unfortuately, the price recently increased $1.50. Because of this, I, recently, ordered a different Dragonwell which, surprisingly, tastes pretty good. All in all, good tasting tea. Incidentally, Dragonwell is the tea I have been drinking for years and is my favorite tea - ever!5I really liked this teaI really liked this tea. It came in a silver foil resealable pouch. As soon as I opened the bag I was immediately hit with the smell of the roasted rice and it was so warm and comforting. I had this tea in the afternoon as a pick me up and it was a great pick-me-up to finish the rest of my work day. It was a nice clean flavor and the flavor of the earthy rice came through. I drink this every day in the afternoon with a digestive cookie. Even though I bought this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review, I would definitely recommend it to anyone that's looking for a lightly flavored tea that isn't filling. Sometimes when I'm not feeling well I like to pour tea over rice for a light lunch. I'm going to make this one next time.4
