Very dangerous, I hope Amazon to stop sellingDo not buy this product is very dangerous after less than a month to use it burnin burned and burned nylon blue cloth and was lead to burns on the skin and turns into a disaster, I hope Amazon to stop selling this product 1I love it and Cat loves itI love this heating pad. I use it for menstrual cramps and stomach aches. It really provides a lot of relief and is very soothing. It's also great for snuggling in bed during the winter. One day though I fell asleep in bed with it and I woke up with my cat on my stomach on top of the pad. I ordered another one for him and I love how affordable it is. There are 3 settings (Low Med High) and it stays on unless you turn it off.I have a cubby in my TV stand that gathers a lot of heat from the TV, PS4, and Cable box. My cat found it of course and made it his new hangout. Decided to put his heating pad in there with a blanket on top. He now sleeps with a huge grin on his face. I keep on the lowest setting for him and make sure he comes out and takes a break few times a day. Putting a blanket on top of it makes it a lot less warmer (I think about a 15 degrees difference?)Sorry for mess in the photos! 5Buyer Beware. Toxic fumes emanating from this will knock you off your feet.BUYER BEWARE.All I could think about last night, aside from getting my money refunded, was how I was going to write this review and WARN ALL OF YOU not to buy this heating pad.The SMELL is appallingly bad. Unbelievably obnoxiously bad. Completely chemical and NASTY.So nasty, in fact, that, last night, after putting it in bed at my feet and warming it up----I had to get out of bed, unplug it, stuff it back into its box and put it outside. THEN I had to wash my feet, because I could smell the toxic chemicals stench on my feet. I wish I could have taken my bed apart right then and there and put on clean sheets, but I have housemates and didn't want to wake them. What a nightmare.Today I changed my sheets and washed the chemicals out of my other set.BE WARNED. My wife had her ...What happened to this brand? My wife had her other two Sunbeams - exactly the same style - for a long time and one of them stopped getting quite as warm so wanted another. The new one doesn't get as warm as the one she wanted to replace. The other one is twice as hot on minimum setting as this one is on high 1Stopped working after two weeksTwo weeks after purchasing, the pad stopped heating up to the full high temperature. It was lukewarm at best. At first Amazon wouldn't take back the item for hygiene reasons. However one evening upon turning it on it simply did not heat up at all. No warmth or slowly getting less hot, just poof, doesn't do anything anymore.We bought two, the other is still working so perhaps we simply got a dud, but we are going to see how the other one does before deciding whether to try and replace this or not, will update if anything changes.Update: Well, two weeks later and the other heating pad has quit working. I have had heating pads and know how they should look and feel. I don't know if this was a manufacturer mistake or what, but was not easy to use. Oh, the controls worked great. It was the pad itself that caused problems. It was a plastic or vinyl cover and when it was used it scrunched together. I would have to pull it and straighten it after every use. It never went back to the "right out of the box" shape. There were folds and creases that I could not smooth out. 1
