The Wire Arms Are DifferentI really like these. Some have complained about the arms. They are wire and will not react like a normal hinged or plastic arm. These are great for around the house may not be a good option for someone who takes their glasses in and out of their case all day. When you place them in a soft case, you have to hold both arms tight towards the nose to slide in. When you take them out, the arms pop open on their own. It's the design. What I like about them, is the lenses are clear and don't feel as thin as some rimless I have tried. The glasses are light weight, and the magnification seems good. I like having something different, and for the price, these are a nice addition to my other readers. 4Lenses scratched!Lenses scratched! Not just on this pair but on the replacement pair I bought too.? I wear 1.75 reading glasses and needed a new pair. When I saw these titanium glasses I bought them. As usual with me I marked the wrong size 2.75 instead of 1.75. I did notice that both lenses were scratched. When I reordered the new glasses in 1.75 both lenses were scratched. 1The earpieces are single piece - that is, there ...The earpieces are single piece - that is, there is no "joint" at the front end. This might make it more durable, but the earpieces cling tightly to one's head, which I find to be a nuisance. My head is fairly narrow, for a male- don't need much space for this brain. As a consequence, I don't use them. 2They work, but be aware of one small issue...They appear to be well made and definitely helped me for reading. The only downside is that they are NOT hinged. The arms simply flex and fold in for storage, which makes them tricky to get into the case. They then tend to pop out at you when you open it back up. This may be something that's somewhat common for reading glasses, but I'm new to these products. All in all, they do what they should, even though they are difficult to store. 4The lenses are great, very light weightThe lenses are great, very light weight, I have had them for less than 2 months and already one of the nose pads has fallen off and disappeared and the plastic ear rest has fallen off. I put the ear price back on, but apparently the next time I took them off it was stuck in my hair and I didn't know it, so it is long gone. It is too bad because I really liked these glasses. 1Amazing Value in Classy Looking Reading GlassesI have two pairs of these glasses with 1 diopter magnification. The frames are a very close copy to a pair of "Silhouette" rimless frames that cost me $ 350.00 earlier in 2017. I needed reading glasses after cataract surgery - these were an amazing find on Amazon. Definitely a quality product and a classy design at a price that can't be beat ! 5LIGHTWEIGHT, but earpieces need drop of glueVERY LIGHTWEIGHT. But, as others have noted: the earpieces slide off very easily (leaving a dangerously sharp eye-poke hazard). And once it slides off, it is VERY EASILY LOST! My easy fix: 1) slide the earpiece off; 2) put a tiny drop of Gorilla Glue on the metal tip; 3) slide the earpiece back on; 4) wipe off excess glue and let dry overnight. End of that problem, so am still happy to recommend the glasses. (Manufacturer should add that drop of glue!!) 4Broken within the first week even with using the caseThis was money wasted. These are not at ALL durable and even with using the case, the attachment of the right 'arm' to the lens broke in less than one week!! there are 2 tiny screws or pins to attach here, and with one broken, the arm rotates and it is only a matter of time before it is broken. It's not worth the hassle to return (that's why I shop on line---I'm very busy), I'll simply avoid this company's products and consider it a lesson learned unfortunately. 1Nice but not rugged enoughThese glasses work fine, and are flexible, plus the case is very fancy for a $19 pair of readers, but they bend out of shape really easily and the lenses are very weakly attached to the frame elements, particularly at the nose bridge. Mine came apart there partially after only a few days of use. I super glued them today (great deals on super glue on Amazon!), and if that holds they will go back into service, at least until they break completely.I do like the style, as they can be used in bifocal mode -- you can look down through them to read, look over them to see distance, so you don't have to put them on and take them off and put them on and take them off a bazillion times per day. But they just aren't built ruggedly enough for my lifestyle, which includes lots of activities where glasses can get bumped and bent and broken. 3Good glasses, easily smudged though...Very nice glasses. I got low power (+1.00) and the lenses are very clear and uniform (no waviness, etc.). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the plastic lens surface seems to attract fingerprints more than any other lenses I've ever had - not good. Perhaps this is due to some coatings that might actually be anti-reflective (I don't know), but they are very tough to clean. Fortunately they come with a nice cleaning cloth that works well. 4
