Definitely worth a shot at helping ease plantar fasciitis.I have had cortisone shots in both feet and they didn't help as much as these insoles did. I noticed a difference within the first week. I used these insoles daily and a night splint to help ease my pain with plantar fasciitis. I work +10hrs a day and I'm on my feet moving around a lot. These have a solid molded base for your arch and heel. At the beginning of using these daily, it is very noticeable at first how much more support I felt. It was a little uncomfortable at first but I got used to it. I've owned these for about 3 months and I do feel a dull ache occasionally when I am on my feet a lot more during the day but it's not as bad as it was before.The biggest issue I had was that the fabric separated pretty quickly but the support is still great. The price is pretty high too.4No Return??The Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx insoles I ordered were too large. But when I attempted to return them, the message I received was that the item COULD NOT be returned. The order page describing the insoles has NO indication that they could not be returned. So I am out $36.80 - and frankly, I'm outraged. If the product is not returnable, it should be plainly noted on the order page. This information should not be provided AFTER the purchase and receipt of the item.1I've had a pretty bad case of plantar fasciitis for almost a year ...I've had a pretty bad case of plantar fasciitis for almost a year and have tried several brands of orthotics, including three from Powerstep, one from Spenco, one from Heel That Pain -- well, you get the picture. The Powerstep inserts are definitely the best for me in terms of arch support and comfort, and the Pinnacle Maxx inserts make a MAJOR positive difference in my comfort and ability to get around. Walked several miles today...no problem. I have high arches and tend to pronate a bit, and the Pinnacle Maxx took both things in stride. (Get it? "In stride"??? Sorry.) The inserts fit perfectly in my Asics Gel Noosa Tri shoes, and I discovered yesterday that they also fit in the Dansko shoes I just bought. The insoles that come with even good athletic shoes are completely wimpy in comparison to the Pinnacle Maxx, and replacing the Dansko insoles (which are actually pretty darn good) with the Pinnacle Maxx made the Danskos mega-comfy.BTW, fellow plantar fasciitis sufferers - the Foot Log foot massager has also been a big help and, I suspect, so has my diligence over the past several weeks in stretching multiple times a day.5Great for standing on hard floors!I am on my feet on tile about 10 hours per day, six days a week. Between a job that has me standing in one place to a job that has me running around, I needed support for my feet. I found that I left work with pain in my heels, knees, hips, and lower back most days, and I ended up icing most of my injuries when I wasn't at work. I decided I wanted my time off work to be more about relaxing and having fun with friends and family, rather than icing and trying to get rid of the pain just enough to make the next day bearable.So, I bought these. They came highly rated on Amazon already, and the price was right. $22 was not too much to spend for comfort. The first day I got them, I slipped them into my shoes, and they hurt. They have arch support, which I wasn't used to, and I thought it was painful. I talked to a friend, who suggested to just wear them for an hour and then take them out, then make it two hours the next day, and so on.I have to say: I'm now a week in, and I'm wearing them the entire time I'm at work. The support they give is incredible, and the pain in my heels and hips has all but disappeared. I'll leave an update if something goes wrong with them, but these have so far made my shoes so comfortable, and my work bearable. I can stand for hours, run around, or even just pace back and forth, and they make everything less painful. Much cheaper than buying a new pair of shoes in search of support.4Use better glue!Two days after I received the insoles the cloth on the left one peeled off. The insoles seem great but the cloth kept curling up under my foot and causing discomfort. And they're to expensive to buy again and have the same thing happen. I purchased these July 22, 2017 and it's only July 30, 2017.1Great support, but falls apart in less than two weeksWhen I received these and swapped them into my motion control sneakers, I immediately felt the increased arch support in my collapsed arch. (These were recommended by my podiatrist for posterior tibialis tendonitis)During the first week, I felt a continued pain in my back (preexisting) however, the pain I had felt in my foot and knee shifts away from my left arch and knee and new aches in my right hip flexora developed as my stride adjusted to the support in collapsed left arch.After just a week and a half of wear, the top layer of fabric has separated and wrinkled under foot. Despite the reduction of pains in my body, the wrinkling underfoot and the fact that these are falling apart after less than two weeks is incredibly disconcerting. I can't imagine having to purchase a new set for fifty dollar inserts every week!! So, for the fact that they are not durable at all, I have to give these one star. If they were made to last, I'd give them five stars!1I am extremely disappointed in theseI am extremely disappointed in these. I have had Powersteps before that lasted a long time. These, as other reviewers have noted, wear out quickly. The foam has broken down and the lining has peeled away. Note, I am not a runner nor have I walked long distances in these. I will be searching for another brand from now on.1Great quality!I've tried 9 different insoles for my flat feet because of heel spurs. These helped some, but I don't think they fit my feet exactly right so I'm going to have to keep looking. I'm not going to take away any stars because of poor fit, though. No insole is going to work for everyone. Also, these are by far the most well made inserts I've tried. Way better quality than any of the cheap Dr. Scholl or Happyfeet type and still much better than comparably priced Superfeet, Orthaheel, SOLE, Sof Sole, FootSpa, and Spenco. The only other insoles that come close to the manufacturing quality of the Powersteps were Samurai brand. They seemed to work about as well for me as the Powersteps. Definitely give them both a shot if you're struggling to find insoles.5Dont buy cheapDon't waste your time with these are other ones that are little bit cheaper that lasts a lot longer I'm only have these for 4 months and their came apart so fast that they don't even help the plantar fasciitis it hurt your heels even more so because they come apart on the Heal Part1Anomaly or quality decline?wanted to update my original review. These insoles were a total bust. Ive had the original blue insoles and they are fantastic. These Maxx editions completely fell apart after light use over the course of 60 days. I want to support Powerstep but these were either an anomaly or the quality has gone way down hill.1
