NO MORE PAIN, YEAH BABY!!!!!Anytime I buy something, I always read the reviews before purchasing the item and this was no exception. Everything I read about these insoles were 100% correct. I read that you have to break them in and it is going to hurt for a little while until you do and they were so right. I already had pain in my feet from Plantar Fasciitis, so it was difficult to not want to throw them back in the box and send back. If it wasn't for the reviews and giving them a chance because of them, I would have sent them back immediately. Instead I chose to listen and gave them time, even with the pain they caused until my feet got used to them. It took about or less then a week and I was pain free. I cannot stress how difficult it was for me to walk and now I have no pain. I can now stand all day at work and not have to cringe every time I walk.Another commenter also said that these would be a sure fit or you might have to cut just a tad bit, but not much to fit in the shoe. They were right about this also, I did not have to cut the insole at all. I ordered the 7.5-8 and it fit perfectly in 3 of my jogging shoes. No cutting and no fuss, just insert into the shoe and go (aside from getting used to them). So, if you have pain on the bottom of you feet and/or your ankle, I highly recommend getting these because they are worth it. I could not be happier with these because they took my pain away. I am so grateful to those who commented on these and got me to buy them. Thank you and Powerstep for saving my feet and taking my pain away.Update: Bought a pair for my husband and he loves them. Stopped his knee pain :)5Best Insoles Anywhere! If you wear shoes, you'll love these! They feel fantastic, I haven't been without 'em this millennium. They give GREAT arch support, unlike any shoes or boots for the past 50 years. And forget about those "name-brand" insoles, they may be cushy but no arch support. These are actually better than custom-made orthotics, made for "Plantar Fascia" condition (fallen arches, flat feet). Sure they cost money, but these will put pep in your step, improve your posture and stance, increase your confidence and energy, better your mood and improve the quality of your whole life! Even if your shoes or boots are VERY comfortable, pull those original insoles out and put a pair of these in, you'll be even better off and flying. One minor caveat, they may take some getting used to. It may feel like all your weight is balanced on a half-of-a-hardball under the arch of your foot. This is normal, and therapeutic, consider it anatomic correction... it's not the insole, it's your feet! You will get used to them, and grow to love them. Especially if you've developed pain in your lower peds in recent years, you owe it to yourself to get a pair of these. How much money have you spent on healthcare? Well, these orthotic insoles are without doubt the greatest boon to MY health I've experienced in my whole life, bar none! One last point, are you athletic? Then you really, really ought to use these. Sure they'll wear out faster with your high-activity lifestyle but they'll help maintain it. (They'll also lengthen the life of your shoes and your feet. What's more important than your feet?) Signed, - A HUGE Fan of Power-Step, not paid nor associated nor affiliated nor a seller in any way. (Get 'em from Amazon - be sure to get the right size!)5Sole saver podiatrist recommendedI am a "seasoned" nurse. I am approaching 30 years of working 12 hour(and longer) shifts on concrete. I am here to tell you, protect yourself, if you work on concrete. The human body isn't made to do it hour after hour. I have chronic plantar fasciitis. I've had the prescription orthotics, approaching $500, I've had the drug store cushions and I have had those ridiculous ones where you stand on the machine at the store and it chooses a style for you. These are easily as good as my $500 pair. I put these in all my shoes(they have some for heels too!). I did upsize my shoes by a half size rather than trim these. My husband and a son are now getting PF so I bought them each a pair as well. You can take out the original insoles and put these in your shoes. They make even cheap unsupportive shoes better. Yes, you need rigid support not more cushion if you have PF. I didn't have to break mine in and neither did my husband, but podiatrists usually suggest you wear the expensive pairs for ~4 hours the first day and work up from there.5US Army soldier approvedWhen I first tried these out in my Nike SFB coyote boots that come with Zero Arch support I thought they had too much support but after walking in them for a few days and then going on a 5 mile ruck march (hike with a 80lb bag) I found that these were absolutely wonderful and apparently exactly the right amount of Arch support for me. I have a medium Arch that was on the verge of collapsing do to my job (active duty 11b infantry US Army) which requires me to be on my feet the better part of 12 hours a day. In addition shipping was fairly quick given I bought these while deployed to Afghanistan and they got here in 6 days through APO address. They also dry out fairly quick if your feet sweat a lot (average temp here 107). In closing definitely worth buying soldier approved.5Game changer for my aching undercarriage.Game changer for me. Age 55 and on my feet most of the day on concrete (teacher). Lately my feet, legs, knees, and hips have been aching. I decided to try these based on the great rating. I was concerned at first as they are not spongy like the regular gel insoles and the arch support seemed a little much. However, following the advice of another reviewer, I gave them a chance and after a few days I really noticed a difference; rather, I stopped noticing all the discomfort I had been going through beforehand. I am sooo thrilled I found these and will be ordering more for my other shoes as I have been switching out these insoles to whatever I'm wearing on a given day. You need to try these if your condition is similar to what I was going through.5Try them and give them a couple of weeks to work them inThis is my second pair. The first pair was prescribed to me by my podiatrist before my bunion surgery. I have continued to use them in post surgery phase. For all new users you need to allow your feet to get used to being reshaped on how you walk and run. Ever notice when you buy a pair of running shoes or any shoes you are paying $80-150/pair or more, the insole in the shoes are worth about $0.50 ? Well the mfg wont give you quality insoles in cheaper or more expensive shoes because they know that quality insoles will increase the life to the shoe since you will likely wear them properly and not buy more pairs of shoes.Try these out. Don't stack the insoles as many tend to do, if the old ones are glued in , work them out ot replace them with these. Give them a little time to get your arches get use to them and you will probably never look back. Your calves and heels may cry a little in the beginning since you are shifting the "footprint" of your step which will transfer the changes in your joints and muscle up your ankles and calves and maybe even knees. It is ok, as you have even using those muscles and joints to compensate for poor walking habits anyways and they are just thanking you.5They support the way they are supposed to, but are not that comfortable.I am 33 and have been having join pain since I saw young. I saw a physical therapist and she said I needed arch support for my knees. I purchased a few different pairs. These seem to be best worn with tennis shoes or other roomy shoes. These would not fit in any of my shoes that fit more tightly around my feet.I found these gave me the proper arch support that I need, however they are not comfortable when worn for more than a could hours. They are very firm and they start to hurt my arch when worn for a long time. Not because they are lifting my arch the way they are supposed to but because they are too hard.I personally shop on Amazon A LOT, and I sometime rely on theses review to help me decide if I should purchase something. I hope you find my review helpful, if you did, please help me out by clicking the "Yes" button below.4NO RETURNS ACCEPTED!!!! Very large support be advised!Only consider these of you need really large supports under your foot.. The support area is too large and lifts the middle of your foot across the entire center. This got uncomfortable. Also, the arch is way too large for me!I wear size 10, and have flat feet. Without support my ankles and feet will be killing me after a few hours... This is considered their level 3 (out of 5) support. When i first put it on, i thought the arch was a little large. Both height and width. The front to back support felt good. It definitely felt like my weight was being supported my the arch of my feet which is bad. I thought maybe i just need to get use to it or perhaps it breaks in. So i wore them for a full day of work moving around with occasional desk sitting. Well i won't be testing of it actually brakes in.. after a full day, i can't stand them any more. They actually hurt even while sitting! It presses against the arch of your foot way too much. I even tried loosening my shoe for relief. Im not faulting them for having a abnormally large size. Buying the wrong size shoe isn't the fault of a company. Unless they send you the wrong size..Here's the disgusting part of the ordeal, THIS ITEM IS INELIGIBLE FOR RETURNS!!!! Buyers beware! If you like the product and you need a ton of support i have no doubts they will work for you. They look and feel well made. But if you find them uncomfortable, your screwed!Luckily i contacted Amazon and they're refunding me my money on the item. Of you are having any issues I suggest you do so as well!On a side note, i also got the samurai insoles, they are much more comfortable! Slightly less support and had support in the right places.1No Support, Buyer beware! They will Not accept returns.Just like any other insoles, you need to try them. They offer little support and collapse quite easily under pressure. I tried to return it and yet they do not accept returns. Nice complete customer satisfaction gaurantee . Go with their competitor, Vivesole Plantar Plus.1If you have foot pain/Plantar faciitis - you're doing yourself a disservice by not buying these...I'll start this off by saying - I have literally never written a review (and I likely won't again). If this review results in one person that was on the fence purchasing this item, then it will have been worth it. I'm a big guy - 6'7 and 295 lbs. I've dealt with foot pain (Plantar fasciitis) for most of my adult life. Every day that I woke up - the second my feet hit the floor, it felt like I had broken bones. As a big guy, you typically don't have many shoe options either. To work, I wear Sperry boat shoes (awful for your feet) and for casual wear - I typically wear Vans (probably even worse). After ONE DAY of wearing these insoles, I'm ready to write a 5 star review. For the first time in as long as I can remember, I woke up free from foot pain (after wearing my Sperrys for the entire previous day).Do yourself a favor and test these out. Don't be like me and fret over the fact that they are $30 - because they're worth double that.5
