Extended Description:\nDirections for use:\nStep 1--Sauteing sugar (for toning)\nAdd a little oil to the pan and cook until it is about 50% hot. Add sugar and stir gently. When the sugar melts, the oil begins to bubble, and the color becomes dark, add water immediately. (beware of splashing oil and water.)\nStep 2--Prepare the brine\nAdd 1.5-2.5 liters of water to the sweet water, then add the marinade, ginger, garlic, scallion, salt, cooking wine, soya sauce, essence, monosodium glutamate and other ingredients, then boil over high heat.\nStep 3--Cook\nPut the cleaned food into the pot with brine and bring to a boil. Cook the food on medium-low fire, until it is fully cooked.
