Night splintWorks great. I have had foot and ankle pain for years. I have seen doctors and specialists. A friend of mine told me about this splint. Can't believe something this simple helped my foot so much. Amazon.com is an answered prayer, the price is nothing compared to how much it helps. I would definitely recommend this product. 5Only gives temporary relief not all day.Only gives temporary relief in the morning and doesn't last all day. I've used it faithfully the past month and it hasn't helped my condition. 3Works great until it falls apart in 2 weeks.These splints have gone a long way to help my PF, but, I need to wear them longer than 2 weeks to fix the issue. I wear them every night, all night. After two weeks, the velcro has torn apart the side it sticks too so you see the rubber underneath. Now I have to try and pull it tighter, cutting off circulation to where I can't wear it, or keep it loose to where it doesn't benefit me at all. Also, the part that wraps around your feet is coming apart from the inside and the cushioning is coming out. It works, but only for 2 weeks. Consider buying a more solidly built option. 2Lasts only about 4-6 monthsThey used to sell these for $49.95 in 2008/2009 but now I see they are $72 in 2010. What a ripoff. This was not worth $49.95. I've owned three of these in two years. "Why does he keep buying them?", you ask? Well, it works for me and this form factor is best for me. I hate spending the money but it does work."Why does he have to buy three in two years though?", you ask? Because the velcro back is made of a cheap felt-type of material (as opposed to a hardened velcro back like most things use). It will wear out in 2-3 months. Then you'll wear it another 2-3 months because, well, you paid $50 for it... 1One StarThe elastic foot insert is too tight and made my foot hurt which defeats the purpose behind this splint. 1Effective, but not durableWhile it was sometimes tough to get it set comfortably, I thought it did its job well. However, after about 6 months, the velcro seems to have worn out, which makes me have to wear it looser or tighter than I'd prefer. 3Four StarsWorks good 4Heel Spur Isn't Painful AnymoreMy husband works 70 hours a week, split between two jobs. Both of his jobs are physically demanding and require him to be on his feet almost all day. He began to develop a heel spur about 7 months ago. It caused him a lot of pain. We aren't in a position to send him to the doctor so I go online and researched things we could do at home to help alleviate his pain. We started with regular pain killers like Motrin. The pain killers only worked for a few hours and then the pain would be back. I learned that certain stretches would help his heel spurt along with great arch support. We got this split for him to wear while he was sleeping to help stretch his foot. It worked very well in conjunction with increased arch support in his shoes during the day. His pain started to go away and after 2 weeks he doesn't need to use it at all! We couldn't have been happier with the results of this product. 5Still trying it.It does helps a bit. Im still trying it. Thanks 4I love it, BUT it was the WRONG sizeI love it, BUT it was the WRONG size. I returned it, but have not received the correct(XL) size.Elden 5
