Sweet and ConvenientThis sucralose powder is very sweet. I mix it with water for the dropper bottles, one part sucralose to five parts water, because that's the easiest way to use it. It tastes like sugar in coffee, tea, and baked goods. Even my husband's homemade BBQ sauce tastes great with this powder as a substitute for sugar. One jar lasts a very long time. I bought a second jar, but I'm nowhere near having to open it yet. This has made a huge difference in our lives. We can enjoy sweetening our drinks and foods without worrying about the calories and other health hazards of sugar. Also, the dropper bottle is so much more convenient to use than the packets of sweetener, which all have carbs added in the form of maltodextrin and dextrose. This powder is pure sucralose with no other sweetener added. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to eliminate sugar from their diet, if they don't mind taking a few minutes to mix the powder with warm water for the dropper bottles, which are also available from Amazon. I've already lost a few pounds just by not using the sweetener packets in my coffee and tea. Great product.5Excellent productExcellent product. Bottle seems expensive but healthier and more cost efficient than packets.5Outstanding Product which I have used for YearsI have ordered this product on Amazon approximately 17 times since 2014. It has been consistent and outstanding every single time. The bottle/packaging has always been fine. The sucralose powder has always appeared and seemed to be very pure. I have gone for periods of time using it and have gone for periods of time not using and I can never tell any digestive or health difference (except that one is of course consuming no calories when using it). You can put it in something you are cooking or baking, or you can put it into an already cooked food or into a drink, etc. and it tastes fine either way as long as you are using an optimal amount as below. Note that this is super sweet but there is a curve such that, unlike sugar, an excessive amount does not produce excessive sweetness. If you use too little, the end result will range from no sweetness to being less than optimally sweet. If you use too much, the result will range from being not optimally sweet along with having an aftertaste to actually being not sweet at all (even though you used an excessive amount). So you have to experiment to find the optimal amount between too little and too much. When you find the right amount, there is an excellent sweet taste. To get that right amount, you often only have to use a very small amount (so it is very easy to use too much). Although it will vary with different foods and drink, and your experience and taste will be different, I find that a rough estimate is that about 200 grams of food or drink might be made optimally sweet by using an amount in the ballpark of about 0.04 grams (40 milligrams) of sucralose powder added to it (or about 0.01 gram = 10 milligrams for about every 50 grams of food or drink). Your experience will no doubt be different but that gives you some rough idea. To measure such small amounts, I would recommend using a jewelry scale which measures in increments of 0.001 gram (1 milligram). Note that I have found that scales measuring in increments of 0.01 gram (10 milligrams) do not tend to measure accurately below about 0.04 grams (40 milligrams) and it would be better to have the ability to accurately measure smaller amounts than 0.04 grams. If you do not wish to utilize a jewelry scale, etc., an alternative might be to utilize a 1/64th teaspoon measuring spoon (1/128th would be better but such 1/128th measuring spoons do not seem to be readily available). I find that 1/64th of a teaspoon of sucralose powder weighs in the ballpark of about 0.025 grams (25 milligrams). No matter the exact weight of 1/64th of a teaspoon of sucralose powder, you could use such a 1/64th teaspoon while eyeballing various amounts such as follows. For example, you can fill about 1/4 of a 1/64th teaspoon and then you will effectively have something similar to 1/256th of a teaspoon of sucralose powder. You might keep adding increments of that amount and if you find that 3 of such yielded a good result, then the next time you might use 3/4 of the 1/64th teaspoon, etc. Or perhaps you might find that some food/drink requires a whole 1/64th teaspoon plus 1/4 of a 1/64th teaspoon, etc. Again, a very accurate jewelry scale might be better but this type of process with a 1/64th teaspoon measuring spoon is an alternative that seems to work pretty well as well.5Cannot be betterThis is an outstanding product. While almost all sweeteners, pretending to be no calorie, actually contain calories, this is really a no calorie product, because it's pure sucralose, and it doesn't contain dextrose, maltose and other "inert" support. One item substitutes 60kg (2112 oz) of sugar, which is more than enough for the whole year.5Great product.Potent sweetener! This stuff is 600 times sweeter than sugar!I use this to make my own liquid sucralose/sweetener. Fantastic if you are diabetic or on a low-carb nutrition regime. If you go this route, you will need a method to measure out very accurate amounts of powder - I use the Smart Weigh Gem 20 - a milligram (.001g) scale with a 20g capacity. In a 15ml plastic dropper bottle I use 3.9g of sucralose and 15ml of water. This give a full strength liquid sweetener with zero carbs.5
