Not perfect, but for the small price is a great deal.I have a reappearing inguinal hernia four months after laparoscopic hernia repair. After the first day of use, I decided that the two straps that travel under crotch had to go. I cut them off. The remaining belt provides enough tension that the area of the hernia is adequately supported. Those under the crotch straps were amazingly uncomfortable and seem to me to be not necessary. The remaining belt is made up of two separate pieces of sturdy elasticized fabric which are attached with a strong velcro strip on either end. That allows for a very snug adjustment. I need to wait another 30 days for follow-up surgery (regrowing my slush fund). I think this belt will be a big help. 4the hernia does not protrude like it did beforeIf you are in the early stages of an inguinal hernia this truss really helps. It has stopped additional tearing and instantly relieved the pain. After a couple weeks of wearing this I am now able to go for extended periods of time without it and not suffer any pain. Also, the hernia does not protrude like it did before. I am sure that it's NOT healed but I can live with it until I can have surgery. This truss has prevented further worsening of the hernia and I cal do most anything while wearing it. I highly recommend anyone with a inguinal hernia to give this a try.It will be the best $10.00 you ever spend!!! 5Great product at any price.I was skeptical about this item due to the low price compared to other available products. I ordered one and meanwhile bought a much more expensive one too. I am pleasantly surprised by the utility, comfort and quality of this product when compared to the more expensive one. I prefer this one in almost all cases. It is much less visible beneath your clothing, has more adjustment options, is easier to put one and provides greater support and comfort. I have just ordered another one. 5color being gray is nice, otherwise it is very uncomfortablecolor being gray is nice, otherwise it is very uncomfortable. The strep on it coming from the back middle- so they are very badly placed, keeps going into the middle of my butt. Besides this major inconvenience, the cut around the front tights are too low, it carves into the flesh - I am not fat, more like skinny, can not imagine for a heavier person could be worst. I had to buy another one: Alpha Medical Flat Inguinal Hernia Truss, that is super comfortable compare to this one, although that is white :(. this might be just my body type with narrow waist and wide hip bones, for others might be comfortable (but the straps should be more wide apart in any case) 2Pretty goodGood overall, but one 'flaw' - the straps that run between the legs are a little on the short side,and the straps themselves are waaaaaayyyyy too hard/stiff, to the point of being quite uncomfortable. Overall, though, the belt as whole is VERY supportive and it comes at a GREAT price. For reference, this is the 3rd different brand belt/supporter I've bought and for strong support (e.g., when working out, albeit carefully) it is the best of the three. Pads are very large. Be warned however, that if you wear this with dress slacks you will very likely have to go up one size in the waist to accommodate. 3Good truss for meThis is the third truss I have tried. It worked perfectly and the sizing was correct. The truss had form fitting pockets for the pads and they were set up perfectly for my hernia. There was no guess work on where to place them. You had to guess where to place the pads on the other trusses and they didn't stay in place. The pads on this truss are thinner and contoured to fit around my unmentionables. The pads on the other trusses were bulky and uncomfortable. This truss is comfortable and I can wear it while working out. I liked the truss enough to order another one. 5Not the best fitting or easy to use.I bought 3 different hernia belts to get me through until I could arrange surgery and this one was basically unusable. Sorry but it just wasn't well designed and the belt was an elastic that wouldn't support the pull of the straps that went between my legs and always made it uncomfortable to wear. 2Overall good productI read the reviews carefully and ordered the next larger size as recommended. Overall well pleased with product and will be ordering another. After three months of daily wear the Velcro has given out. I wear it rather tight and probably that was contributing factor. I installed snaps to assist the Velcro and will continue to use, rotating with new one when it arrives. 4This product is sturdy and worked wellThis one held me together until I could schedule surgery. Sizing was more accurate. It did far better than a similar product I had bought on Amazon that was much smaller than advertised. I did buy suspenders to keep them snug. That might be an idea for those who need to keep things pretty firmly in place while still trying to be a little active. 5Pad is located too high; and material is too thick.; can't remove the right or left strap.I don't like that the pad is located inside the waist belt. When the pressure pad is fixed to the waist belt portion of the product, it ends up too high on your abdomen, after you move around for 5 minutes, to put pressure on the actual site of the hernia. The pressure pad should actually be fixed on the vertical strap that goes between your leg and package just below the waist belt. It would be in a better position to maintain pressure on the site of the hernia, even if the belt rides up toward your waist.I also don't like how thick the material is. The thinner the better. I already have an underwear waist band, a pants waist band, and a belt. Why would I want another thick piece of material underneath all of that. The hernia belt doesn't need to be thick material. I will likely purchase a different hernia belt or make my own.Also, I can't remove the left hernia strap. I only have a hernia on the right side. Now I 'll have to cut it with scissors and permanently remove the Left.THe front middle also comes down too low, and I access the pee hole in my underwear without taking the whole apparatus off. 2
