I started taking this supplement to support my cardiovascular health and use as a natural antibiotic to fight off infection.. It has 600 mcg of Allicin in the product and does have a slight aroma of garlic but no offensive breath after taking the supplement. It does have a slight taste of garlic, especially if you do not take it with food. Normally if a garlic supplement has no scent it is due to aging of the garlic which breaks down the Allicin which reduces the efficacy of the supplement. So I was pleased at being able to smell and taste the garlic. The enteric coated tablet reduces garlic breath,stomach upset and allows the product to break down in the intestine for better absorption. The price is a little higher than some other garlic supplements but it is an excellent high quality supplement. Additionally, I have had no further diverticulitis after starting this supplement along with a probiotic. I was getting 4 infections a year and facing surgery prior to using. I highly recommend this product! 5PoisonThis product has ammonium hydroxide which is a chemical cleaner Agent ! I use to get this brand from my Doctors office but the bottle was different!
