Customer Reviews

Amazing!Have tried a variety of ear plugs to deal with spousal snoring. - they were either not comfortable and/or not very effective. Based on good third party reviews I gave these a try, and they are really effective while still being very comfortable = I finally can get through the night without being waked up numerous times. 5Used to work, now they don't???On recommendation of a friend, had purchased a batch on Amazon last year which seemed to work better than the batch I just ordered (10 months have passed). Try as I may, I can't get them to "seal" now. Especially my left ear! Another reviewer recommended wiping them with alcohol first to make a "stick" but not sure how safe that is?? Meanwhile I just went to CVS and bought their 33 decibel blue foam plugs. Going to compare and see. Life would indeed be easier if the upstairs tenants didn't sound like water buffaloes mating every time they walk across the floor above me!!!UPDATE: It's the next day and I had more success last night sleeping with these blue CVS brand earplugs than the HL corded orange ones pictured (both are 33 decibels)... 3Great product. These are great. My wife won't wear her Cpap, so this is my only option. I just want to sleep, but 3 feet from my head it sounds like a walrus getting sucked into a wood chipper. I wear my Cpap, why the hell can't she? I work all the time and I just want to sleep when I get home. But there is a loud rumbling that sounds like logs rolling down a hill crushing a walrus that has been sucked into a wood chipper. Seriously honey, wear your Cpap, it's good for your health, and I want to sleep. So ear plugs are a 10/10, wife's willingness to wear cpap. 0/10. 5Complete Snore BlockerI've been using these for years to combat my SO's horrendous snoring/apnea. These are the best. I reccomend wiping them and your earholes with rubbing alcohol each night for a better "stick." Follow the directions--really squish them and then hold them in as they expand slowly. You won't get the best result by just sticking them in your ears. With that being said, I have small earholes and they expand so well that by the morning I feel a little ache. I'm experimenting with thesmaller pink version of these for "ladies" or kids. Jury is still out on those. 4Phenomenal, very much better than the regular ones!I have been using the Max regular ones for 3 or 4 years every night to sleep. I love them, however, sometimes I fill they hurt me when I push them too much. I bought this small without knowing if they were good or not, also because they are Nrr30 (vs Nrr33 of regular ones). Just a word. Phenomenal, very very very much better. They don t slip from you ears when you are sleeping, because they are all inside you ear, and because they are more small, they don t hurt! Don t hesitate, buy this ones intead! 5Amazing Ear Plugs! ADD TO CART today SLEEP SOUNDLY tomorrow. My husband snores very loudly, usually very close to my ear. After months of trying many different brands (3M, Mack's, Flents, Moldex, Hearos, Radians, etc.) and styles within brands of ear plugs, THESE ARE THE BEST. They are the best sound reducers, best fit, very comfortable, and they don't fall out. Other brands will tell you their product blocks the most sound...I assure you they do not.... these puppies do. I think it's a combination of the ability to roll the plug really thin, the particular way Howard Leight's foam expands, and the curvature of the back end of this particular style of ear plug. BONUS: These are INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED - so no drying out. Excellent purchase, I whole heartedly recommend for a blissful night of slumber. I am genuinely very excited to have found an earplug that helps me get a full night's rest. Hallelujah! 5A few weeks ago I went for an MRI and the tech showed me this product they d just found for patients like me. They worked perfectly so I checked on ...Finally, an ear plug that fits my small ear canals. I ve tried many different plugs to cope with my husbands snoring and none of them would stay in my ears. A few weeks ago I went for an MRI and the tech showed me this product they d just found for patients like me. They worked perfectly so I checked on Amazon and there was the exact product for a good price. If you have had a problem with illfitting ear plugs give these a try. 5Excellent earplugs, better than 3m Tekk, better than a good pair of earmuffsThese are rated only 1 DB in noise reduction better than 3m Tekk.I've given these two decent tests -- Mowing my lawn (takes about an hour)- Chainsawing (much louder) - for about 3 hoursThese are rated at 33 NRR, the 3m tek's are rated at 32 NRR. The different is fairly trivial.I've have to say - these seem to block out noise decently better than the 3m Tekk's, not sure what it is, but things are just that much quieter. As far as the fit and comfort go - I can't say I have any complaints. I think the comfort is about the same as the Tekk's, but the fit in my ear canal seems better ( better shape I'd say ).After several hours of chainsawing, the wear did not seem to hurt my ear canals or anything. I like the better protection than what I had before. I'll be buying these again.-----UPDATE: After further use of these, I have a quick update.I bought a pair of 3M Peltor X-Series Over-the-Head Earmuffs, NRR 27 dB to wear in conjunction with the earplugs for further noise reduction. This gives me another way to compare. Compared to these (very good) earmuffs, the noise reduction is still noticeably superior on the Howard Leight earplugs (you should probably expect it since the NRR of earmuffs is 27). Just another perspective to compare with. I feel it is not uncommon for manufacturers to give numbers which don't really stack up to reality, so this is why I make this comparison. 5Peace, Silence, and Comfort! My schedule is a bit shifted from most people's, I'm up a lot later, and wake up a little later. Living in a suburban apartment complex this unfortunately means sometimes there is noise in the morning.I tried a ton of different brands, and find leight to be my favorite. Prior to this order usually just got the regular sized ones and was reasonably happy. Mostly stopped using them due to ear discomfort though. Kept finding myself waking up having taken one or both out while sleeping with no memory of it. After prolonged wear, or when I did sleep through the night with them on, my ear canals kind of felt irritated too.Now here's the thing. Physically, in ever measure size wise, I'm either extra extra extra large, large, or at the absolute minimum, normal. All the earplugs I tried before, different brands, different types, I also always ended up using the medium size.Put these in... they felt small compared to the regular ones, but THEY WORKED. I slept the whole night through, not waking up once, woke up with both of them still in my ears, and just about zero discomfort.BOTTOM LINE: If you use the regular sized ones, try the small size, so much more comfortable and definitely worth the trade off in 3db less noise reduction. 5I think these are excellent ear plugsI think these are excellent ear plugs. Maybe the best. Many years ago when I was in the Union, this is the brand everyone wore and that companies bought. All the construction pro's use Howard Leight. I wear them for sleep and for when I just don't want any noise (helps with my anxiety/OCD). The red/white/blue combo is cool too if you want to spend an extra 2 or 3 dollars. The box shows the pinkish colored ones, but open it up and BAM! Merica! 5
