Different levels of heat, automatic shut-off...Absolutely love this product. It covers all of the back plus covers your neck. I have to fight my kitty because she seems to think it is hers.....heats up fast and has different heat levels which I like. 5Stays softThis product stays soft and is conformable when just out of the freezer. I got the cervical size, and my parents have the standard size, and both seem to be of good quality. The smaller size seems to warm up a bit more quickly than I would expect (it only feels really cold for about 15 minutes on my ankle), but that may be a side effect of being more maneuverable. 4Comfortable to use but just an okay cold packThis product is much softer than others and does get cool enough initially for therapeutic use. However, it doesn't get as cold as I would like and doesn't maintain that coldness as long as I hoped it would. While more comfortable than some, it is not as easy to clean with the covering. It seems well made and will likely hold up fine. It will fit fully around an average size person's neck but very large people may want to select a different model. It can easily be used for other parts of the body. While this will work for my needs, I prefer a cold pack that is colder, lasts longer and is easy to clean for repeated use. 3Product Ripped at the Inside Seam After 2 Months+ Soft, comfortable fabric feels great, compared to other plastic Hot/Cold packs.+ Stays warm for a l-o-n-g time.- One of the inside seams where the "wings" attach to the main body ripped after 2 months, and dark grey goo was oozing out. Fortunately I noticed before putting it in the microwave. The seam on the other side was showing signs of a similar failure, indicating that the product is basically under-engineered at this critical juncture.Nice product, but poorly designed and/or manufactured. Inside seams need to be more robust.Will not buy again. 2Happy Accident, great product!I have chronic pain, and these really are a lifesaver. I have always hated using ice because it's lumpy, too cold, melting, etc, so this is the perfect solution for inflammation. Great price, too.I got this by mistake, but I absolutely love it! I love the square and long rectangle ones for my hands, and sometimes my neck, but this is the perfect one for my neck and shoulders. It gets the top of my shoulders while also cooling my neck..Be careful at first, because it can get to the numbing stage faster than I thought, so I tend to put this on my back/shoulders and let it thaw slightly before I put it on my bare neck. I don't consider this a flaw in the least.Bonus: Great for hot flashes! 5Perfect for my post surgery needsI have tried many ice packs for my shoulders and this is absolutely the best. After my recent surgery I needed something I could put on without help. All others I had tried needed to be strapped on.This holds its cold for the entire 20 minutes that I use it. It also refreezes quickly to be used again in 1 hour. I like that it is the perfect shape so as not to slide off my shoulder.Make sure to not put it on bare skin - wrap it in a towel or pillowcase. 5Excellent fabric and comfy.This is my second after using my first one for FOUR YEARS! I use this often, and I mean daily if not a few times a day! I have two torn meniscus and it works just as nicely wrapped around your knee when elevating your leg, as it does draped over you neck.By the way, my chiropractor sells this for $35! The stay pliable when frozen, are very cold and stay cold for a long time... not sure if its a gel or a clay inside but it does what it is supposed to do. The outside is soft. I keep these in my freezer and they are very flat only about 1/2 inch thick. Highly recommended 5Love this ice packAfter searching and getting redirected several times I finally made it to the brand I wanted. It was frustrating! But I finally made it to the one I wanted. My Husband and I have a total of three of these. We use it for back, knees, shoulders. they mold to the body part. 5Gives me a fighting chance to beat my tension headachesI suffer from occasional headaches stemming from shoulder and neck tension. I especially suffered with them after my first pregnancy, I believe due to exhaustion, always looking down, and getting used to nursing. After my second pregnancy, I knew I needed something to alleviate the pain since medicine does not usually work for me. Heat seems to make me feel worst so I went on the search for an ice pack and purchased this one in the tri-sectional style. It helps so much with the headaches. I like the way it feels - heavy and full but still pliable. The cold lasts for a good amount of time, plenty sufficient for a sitting. I do wish it was a little longer in the back and front pectoral areas, but I still love this product. I am so happy I found it and finally have a fighting chance to beat my tension headaches! 5
