TSA tipPurchased for a flight to keep insulin pens cold until I could get them into a refrigerator where we were staying. On the return trip I did not need to keep them cold because I had used my supply. I would suggest that even if you do not need it cold for a trip and are carrying it in your purse,or carry on,that you freeze it anyway. We were held up by TSA because it showed as a liquid, they had to thoroughly check it over and check the seams to make sure we could not access the liquid. They suggested that in the future we freeze it. 5TSA ConfusionWorks well - TSA confusion. We were TSA precheck, however they pulled out this item - they needed to be sure freezer pack was frozen and you cannot remove them. They finally let us through without cutting compartment open - may not use for air travel next time. 5Sounds way better than it really is - skip it, don't buy.I thought this product sounds great for keeping my insulin cool on extended trips, so I bought this larger model as well as the smaller single model.The first time I used it, was for a short overnight trip, that I didn't really need to worry about but I was excited to use the product and see how it worked, I followed instructions and place the cooler in the freezer 24 hours before. In the morning when I got up, I pulled it from the freezer, placed my insulin in it and put it in my suitcase. Put the suitcase in my car. 8 hours later when I arrived at my destination and pulled it out, I thought I must have been doing it wrong. insulin wasn't even cool to the touch. Room temp. So I decided I needed a more scientific approach with actual temps and a way to monitor it remotely. After seeing this review and knowing I wasn't happy they issues a full refund! 1Perfect for bringing Insulin on the airplane.I had no problem bringing this on the airplane with my insulin. I traveled from the US to UK to Ireland and back and never had a problem bringing it on the plane with me. It freezes solid and feels more like it has metal plates in it than ice. The TSA did not question it at all. When I got to a hotel I would just ask the front desk to put it in the freezer and then I'd put my insulin in the room fridge or in a bucket of ice in my room. It lasts all day packed in my suitcase. I had a digital thermometer with it and it always kept my insulin plenty cool. Neither the inside nor the outside gets wet or damp. It was large enough for a months supply of insulin pens and vials. Its sturdy and very well made. I expect to be using it for many years. I have used it for several day trips as well. It has replaced the insulated lunch bag with ice packs that was my previous go-to case. I have many different insulin cooler cases and this one is by far my favorite. I have tried the Frio cases too and they do seem to maintain room temperature when it gets hot, but they are probably best suited for travel where you will not have access to a freezer. For standard tourist travel, this Fridge to Go case is the best. 5I love this product, it keeps my serum tears cold!This is my first Amazon review and I have bought both the small and standard size medicine travel bag and love them! I have extremely dry eyes and use serum tears throughout my day. It is essential this medicine stays cold and these travel packs make it easy to have my medicine on hand when on the go. The standard size generally lasts 7-10 hours and the small travel bag lasts about 5-7 hours. The smaller bag is convenient to carry in my purse and the standard bag is nice when I'm gone for longer periods of time. These have been a life saver for me as it's already a pain trying to keep medication at a cool temperature. I hope the pictures help for sizing. The smaller bag I've had for quite awhile but it's still in great shape! I've had to reach out to customer service with questions in the past regarding my purchase and they were very helpful and responsive. I would definitely buy from this seller again, great products! 5Great customer service and an awesome product!This is a great portable medical cooler. I feel like this stays much cooler than other smaller pouches. It is also super convienant that the ice packs are included and don't need to be removed. You literally throw the whole bag in the fridge! I also love how the they stand behind their product. One of the elastic bands that holds the medicine in tore on one side and the company immediately sent me a replacement, without hesitation. Customer service could not be any better! Thank you for making my life easier! 5Well made.Well designed and constructed case. Two insulin pens and associated supplies fit well. Cold packs sewn in. So can't swap them out or allow insulin to stay at room temp. Need to put the entire case in the freezer. 4Perfect Motorcycle TransportI just returned from a motorcycle trip to Maggie Valley, NC where I used the Fridge to Go medical wallet for the first time. The challenge was keeping my meds refrigerated for a two day trip. After prepping the wallet as instructed I placed it in a Nelson-Rigg motorcycle cooler bag with ice in the bottom. When I got to the hotel I put the wallet in the freezer section of the hotel mini-fridge and the meds in the normal fridge section. On the second morning I added ice to the bag and placed the wallet on top. When I arrived at my destination the meds were still protected and refrigerated. The wallet performed flawlessly and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Highly recommended. I should also add that the owners of the company emailed me after the purchase with additional advice and valuable follow-up. What a great company with a great product. This is now an indispensable part of my travel arrangements. 5It worksThe various choices for keeping refrigerated meds cold (not frozen, and not just cool) can get very confusing. I wanted to take as-yet unused insulin that was being kept in the refrigerator and keep it equally cold while traveling. This product kept my insulin cold during an 8-hour trip. At the end, the gel packs hadn't seemed even to begin to thaw, suggesting it would have lasted much longer. 5Buyer Beware: Non-returnable, heavy & bigI didn't even have to take it out of plastic wrap to feel this carrying case is way too heavy AND too big to fit in my purse. The ice packs should be removable for when the included saline ones fail. It does fit both epipens but not my travel nebulizer attachments or meds. Worst part is I tried to return it and it says it ineligible. What a bunch of crap. Now I'm stuck with this thing. Do NOT waste your time!!! 1
