The BEST insoles for FLAT FEETMy husband has wide/FLAT feet and is on his feet all day at work. He is required to wear stainless steel boots and just bought an expensive pair. Unfortunately, his new boots were killing him at work (especially where he has no arch) so he went back to wearing his OLD beat up boots. I got these insoles for him and he absolutely LOVES them! He usually wears a 9.5 so he had to trim it a little, but he came home from work after a back to back double shift and wouldn't stop thanking me for getting him these. We were skeptical before, having gone through various other insoles and these are by far the BEST insoles for him. I've even thought about buying a bunch for all his shoes. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone. 5Most Comfortable Insole Ever!I have flat feet and bought many many shoes that I cannot wear due to the pain. This insole has very good support for the arch and has enough cushion to make every one of my shoes bearable again. I have bought 5 of these insoles so far so I don t have to move them from shoe to shoe. For anyone who has pain from flat feet I highly recommend these inserts. 5The best!These inserts are literally the best. First off, they completely healed my husbands plantar fascistic. They have helped me with lower back issues when walking and hiking...and working out in general. And, they are a fraction of the cost of the expensive custom inserts. Honestly these feel just as good as the custom versions out there....they serve the same purpose...so why spend 3-4x the amount?! Do yourself a favor and get these before you go and spend the big bucks on custom inserts! 5No arch, foot pain? Not anymore!!!So I bought this for my husband, as he walks for 12 hours a day on concrete, and doing stairs. I feel for him, having really flat feet, and we have tried the boots that were to help the ache, we've tried Dr. Scholls, and nothing has helped nearly as much as these did. This was a last ditch effort before having to go out and have him get them through his doctor which I didn't want to even think about those prices. I read that some people have to give it a few days, but that was not the case for my husband. He came home that first day and told me for the first time he could think of since starting at this job 5 years ago, his feet were not killing him. While he did say it feels weird to have an arch, where previously he sersiously had NO arch, he also said it didn't hurt or feel uncomfortable. I ordered up a size, as he's an 11 and thought we would have to trim them, but it was a perfect fit. Because of that I would recommend going up one size, that way even if it's too big, you could trim if needed. I will also point out that when you feel them, they don't feel like memory foam ones, and that through us off. Again, until the first day he word them, and then it was a whole different story. I guess for feet without arches, it's more amazing than when you first open them. 5Disappointing at best.I was introduced to Footminders Comfort Orthotic Arch Support at a physical therapists office. A fellow patient showed them off, we both had similar foot issues. The orthotics she showed us were well made, durable and had great arch support. Very similar support-wise to my $400 pair of prescription orthotics. She gave me the packaging, so that I would order the exact pair. I was very disappointed when my pair arrived, they were markedly different both quality and support and frankly they seem extremely poorly made. Thin and flimsy with no real arch support. Very sorry I forked out the 25 bucks.Unhappy and I would not recommend to anyone. 1He has horrible flat arches with subsequent pronationThe fact that my husband likes these is a miracle. For years he's complained of pain in his feet, legs, and back. I told him he needs supportive insoles but he would only buy the ones at the store. He has horrible flat arches with subsequent pronation. I ordered these and the Superfeet Green Premium insoles and he likes these much better. He reports a significant decrease in pain and actually asked me to order a second pair for his other work boots! Halleluiah!! 5They workI buy a lot of goods on Amazon, I'd easily say 100's of items. I can count on one hand the number of reviews I've left of all those purchases. Normally enough is said, but I was compelled to leave a review for this item . I was for about a period of a year dealing with the worst pain on my right foot. It was unbearable from the moment I got out of bed.I bought the Footminders based on an average of the reviews and used them for about a month. That was when the pain started going away. I bought four more and placed them in comfortable shoes.3 months later I'm healed. 1 year later and still no more pain and I switch through out the week with and without them in different shoes.They work. You have to use them every day. Buy a few and leave them in your most comfortable shoes. 5Relief you can feelI went on my first hike with these insoles today. It was only 3 miles, but that would normally be enough to have my ankles barking at me. Instead I felt like I could go 10 more no problem. These are definitely worth the money. They may take a little getting used to, but you can really tell that they are supporting your arch.One thing: I wear 10 to 10.5 shoes, but the medium insoles felt more natural to me. With the large, I felt that the arch support was too far forward. Plus the mediums fit snugly into my shoes. I would have simply cut the large size down, but as I said the mediums felt more natural. Kept the mediums and in the process of returning the larges. 5Excellent! Would Buy Again!I have wide, and what I consider low arches. I wear a size 7D in New Balance. I started walking this year to get in shape, and average 20-25 miles a week. I developed blisters, and pain in the outer left edge of my left foot.I initially bought Dr. Scholl's heel pain gel insoles. They were comfortable, but I noticed my feet hang over the side because I wear a wide shoe. There was a gap between the insole and side of the shoe. That caused blisters. Also, because those insoles went on top of the New Balance insoles, it elevated my feet. The problem then was that the top laces hit a nerve, and after about 2 miles my feet would start tingling. I couldn't get the right combo of lacing to where they didn't rub, but were still keeping my foot in place.I looked for other options and ran across these. They have a money back guarantee. I didn't know if this would apply since I bought them on Amazon, not from the manufacturer. I emailed the manufacturer. They promised a response in 24 hours. I have yet to receive one. I took a chance and bought them anyway. Good decision.First, like I side, wide feet. These actually fit very snugly in my wide width shoes. That means no gap between an insole and the side of the shoe for my foot to hang over. They replace the factory insole, so there is now no issue with the height of my foot in the shoes, and I've had no tingling sensation with these. I bought the small, and took out my factory insoles and trimmed these to fit. Easy peasy. Like I said, I've never thought or been told I have a problem with my arches. However, after walking in these I've noticed significantly less pain, so something is working. Finally, these are firm. When I first felt them, I thought they would be like walking on rocks. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised in how well these feel. I have been walking faster and with less pain since I've been using these. They are worth the money. 5Good support/ fits wellI have a large mass on my navicular bone that caused my arch in my right foot to fall, putting excruciating pain on the tendon on the inside part of my ankle. This mass also squeezes the nerves in that particular tendon/nerve path so the great toe and second /third toe are often numb. The podiatrist had prescribed me an ankle stabilizer that does not work, as it compresses that tendon/nerve path even more.I did a lot of research & decided an insert arch support might do the trick These work in the shoes I wear most often -- Dr Scholl sneaker (I have several of them due to the wide toe box) They take up very little room if you have shoes that are not tight. I have yet to try them in any other shoe.These are easily cut to fit inside your shoe, just order the correct size. I did have to custom cut these to fit precisely in the shoe... the cutting guideline is JUST a guideline. You will need to carefully & slowly trim these.The only drawback is that the arch support takes a while to get used to. I wore them for a couple hours each day and found my foot pain was not much different. But after a while, the pain did ease up a bit.These are supposed to last for around 12 months according to the package. 4
