A must for Lymphedema patientsThis is a godsend!! I had Lymphedema surgery and am required to wear a very tight sleeve. This item reduced the post surgery pain while donning the sleeve bearable. I use a slippy sleeve along with this for great ease in putting on the compression sleeve.You MUST have this if you use a compression garment. The sleeve literally glides up my arm. 5Thankful for the contraption!Since it is a major struggle to put on compression stockings without working up a sweat or help, I purchased the EZY-AS device. There is a learning curve. I still don t always get the perfect positioning, but it works well if gather the stocking down & bring the heel all the way to the top edge -then slide your foot in. I put the device on the floor (oval hole toward me) & stand to insert foot while holding on to something. I even packed it for vacation! Thankful for the contraption! 4my husband loves themThe gloves are flexible and heat resistant, exactly what we were hoping for. 5Three StarsDifficult to use with high compression stockings. 3Five StarsLove this appliance. I have lymphedema in my lower legs and wear heavy duty compression stockings. My Lymph. therapist recommended this style. I put on my dishwashing gloves to give my hands some grip. i scrunch up the stockings on it, put my toe in, then put the appliance on the floor heel first, and push into the heel and it slides on like a stubborn boot. With this appliance, friends were able to help me with my stockings after an appendectomy and after carpel tunnel (both hand) surgeries. No, it is not easy, but I haven't found an "easy" version. When I mentioned this to my therapist, she pointed out that for my condition, if it is easy, I have the wrong size stockings. This is literally a lifesaver for me. You do have to have some strength in your foot and leg to push for yourself. Also I jhave lost 70 pounds and my legs changed size (thank you God) and therefore stocking became smaller. I ordered this small EZY-AS when i realized that i was struggling more with the size medium, because my stockings were simply too small for medium.My sister, who works in a group home, saw me use it, with gloves - was so excited. They have a gentleman client who needs to wear stockings and it is a daily struggle to get him dressed, he doesn't want them and the nurses, hate the job. I gave her my medium EZY-AZ, She says the gentleman puts on his own stockings now, is so pleased with himself, and the mornings are SOOO much calmer.I also gave one away to a friennd (along with athletic compression stockings that were too big) for her aunt who has a lot of mobility issues. This friend had helped me dress through one of the carpel tunnel recoveries and knew how to be the "caregiver" It was amazing and satifying to watch her work with her aunt to get dressed. They are both thrilled with the results and so glad to have the EZY-AS. And that is why I ordered this new one. 5
