Baggy on the calves...pronounced seam. Not worth the priceI have mixed feelings about these sox. They are definitely oversized including the ankle. They tell you in the product description that the socks do not slip down your ankle and that's a bold fast lie. While they do put the seam on the outside of the toe area for the price point that these socks are at there should be no seam at all inside or out. Beware that these socks dry very slowly. I.E. when everything else in the dryer comes out dry but these. I have to set the socks out to dry further. Kind of a pain. I do appreciate how oversized these are but the leg portion of the sock always goes down my leg...a pain. For the price these should fit better with no seam anywhere. High quality socks do not have seams. 2Don't hold upThese were worn about one time a week for three months, and they are too stretched out at the ankle and calf to wear now as they immediately fall down. I'd highly recommend against buying these socks, they're not a good value for the money. 1Excellent for swollen feet and anklesGenerously sized, nice knit. No seam around top - left no indentation in skin. Also, the toe seam is on the outside to reduce issues there. My step-father has lymphedema and his feet and ankles sweel a great deal sometimes. These are the best socks we have found, bar none. I added a liquid textile product on the bottom to make them no-skid. Perfect. The socks wash well. If they are too big, you can wash in very hot water and dry very well on high heat to shrink them a bit. We will only buy these socks now. 5I finally don't have painful rings in my ankles/calves after working at a desk ...PROS: I finally don't have painful rings in my ankles/calves after working at a desk all day. The colors are deep and solid.CONS: They're fairly hard to dry thoroughly- even if you run them in the dryer at high. I also have extremely itchy tops to my feet when I take them off. I've tried everything to stop the itching, but it only seems to happen when I wear these socks. I didn't see anything about latex being used, but it makes me wonder. 3POOR DURABILITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was really looking forward to these socks when my Wife purchased these for me. For many years, I always bought cheap Dr. Scholl's diabetic socks at Wal-Mart and they held up for years. The first pair of these Microban diabetic socks and the heel wears completely thru leaving a 2 inch hole after only 5 days of use!. This is ridiculous! I have never had something wear out this quickly in my entire life of 53 years. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in these socks and should receive a full refund. I have never had to complain about a product since being a Amazon customer since 2007. These socks need reinforced heel pads or something so they don't wear out in a week. Thank you for any help with this and a reply soon. 2HUGE socks that make my lymphadema feet happy. I have Stage 2 lymphedema and my feet ...Lovely, soft, HUGE socks that make my lymphadema feet happy. I have Stage 2 lymphedema and my feet are pretty huge. These socks are plenty big for my feet yet don't slide or slip down. The cuffs are snug without biting into my legs and I love that the seam is on the outside. Even before I had lymphedema, I routinely turned my socks inside-out so I wouldn't have the toe seam irritating my toes, how nice that these socks already save me the trouble! They wash beautifully and I have run them through the dryer with no shrinkage when I haven't had time to hang them outside. I've been wearing them regularly for a few months now and they are holding up very well.One factor that featured in my decision to buy these socks - I asked a question here on Amazon about the socks and the seller replied quickly and with accurate information. That tipped it in their favor and I've not been disappointed with my purchases.I am completely in love with these socks, in fact this last order was my second order and I intend to buy more. I have the mixed pairs (black, blue and brown) and the three sets of blue. Next I'll be buying the white. I have size 14 feet. The 11-16 size fits great. The top part is a weave that is snug at first, but immediately expands to whatever size you need without pressure. They stay up good, but they are not designed for distance walking or running. They will rub and cause blisters quickly. I use them for bed. They are warm and comfortable. Highly recommended.Note: The top weave is good and functional. However, be careful not to catch on them or cut threads. A small hole will be a large hole.UPDATE: After a few washings the top of the sock is stretched out crazy. If you wear these around the hose and to bed they are alright. Since his amputations his feet and ankles are very swollen trying to compensate for his missing toes. He also retains a lot of fluid in his legs. These socks are very easy to stretch out to get over his wide feet and ankles. I just wish you could get more than 3 pairs with this price. I will keep buying though because they are nice, comfortable socks and my husband hasn t had any complaints with them. They also have held up very well in the washer & dryer.Update 10/9/19 these socks have now become so stretched out with constant washing and my husbands continuous edema. They don t hold up on the calf and always fall down the leg. They are also so thin that holes became apparent after a few months of wear. While he liked them in the beginning they did not last 6 months and we had to throw them out. At this time will not repurchase. 4Awesome!These are perfect for Hubs who has one very fluffy misshapen foot that regular diabetic socks won't fit. Ordered 2 packs of these 2 years ago and only recently did I have to throw a few away because he wore out the tops, but that was with constant wearing and washing of 12 socks. For that alone I'd give them 5 but they're ALSO antimicrobial and have inverted toe seams which is nice. The color held up really well too. You wouldn't believe the abuse these socks took. Only wish the foot was a bit cushier but then probably wouldn't last as long. 5
