The socks fit as expected, but they are very ...The socks fit as expected, but they are very uncomfortable to wear. They have a large seam inside at the toe area that feels uncomfortable. There is no way to adjust socks so that you don't feel it. I wouldn't buy again. 2They have changed - not for the better either!I wish I had realized, before I demolished the packaging, that these were NOT not the Dr. Scholl's socks I had been buying for years or I would have returned them. They are thin and tight ... not at all suitable for people with lower leg swelling. So, beware - if you are looking for the thicker, stretchy cozy Dr. Scholl's socks that were so comfy, these are not them. 1Seam not the best for sensitive toes....For those of us with sensitive feet, it's the little things which make a difference. My issue is how the toe seam feels and where it it ends up. For these socks the seam is small which is a plus. However, these have little ball of fabric where the seam ends which of course I can't find a spot where it does end up causing rubbing, pressure and pain. If your toes aren't as sensitive as mine, I believe you will be happy with the rest of the body, snug but not too tight. 4Not what I was hoping for...While these socks are definitely soft and non- binding, I take issue with their statement a smooth toe seam to reduce irritation. The seams are not smooth, and I am finding them irritating my toes. Further, the statement Extra cushioning provides much-needed protection for sensitive feet leaves me puzzled. There is no extra cushioning any where on these socks. 3MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT WITH THESE SOCKS!!!NOTHING like the older issue Scholl's diabetic socks. Those were made with an ultra soft, stretchy yarn. Half way through the first day of wearing a black pair I started itching and thought I had been bit by a bug. I pulled up my pants legs and my leg was TWICE its normal size. YOU have to know I do not have diabetes and my leg swells only on occasion due to a severe leg wound that was closed with a skin graft. I had to take the socks off at the office! I wore the pink socks the next day and while they seemed fine at first, by noon I had an angry red line cut into my leg by the sock. I am stuck with multiple pairs of socks because thinking they were the great quality I had worn for years, I washed them all and threw the packing away. If you have serious medical issues, I would think twice before buying these socks! 1BEWARE -- DESCRIPTION IS FALSE!!These are NOT the Diabetic and Circulatory socks I have bought for YEARS both in-store and direct from Renfro, the manufacturer.Yes, the top of the sock is not as binding as "regular" socks. But it is nowhere nearly as comfortable as the True Originals. Also whoever wrote the description had obviously not looked at the product. There is NOT ANY cushioning ANYWHERE in these socks.I am sorry I took the package on vacation without even opening. Knowing I loved the "real" ones, I didn't bring any other socks. I was stuck wearing these poor imitations. No, I could not possibly recommend to anyone -- even if I don't like the person 1Too tight for a non-diabetic!I threw away the package thinking these would work for me. Not sure how they can be for diabetics when they squeezed my normal sized ankles to where I have to wait an hour for the swelling to subside, I have swelling sometimes and so I only wear diabetic socks.I am a waitress, so my feet are on the move all day. I do not stand and let fluid or blood pool. Yet, at the end of my day, there was so much swelling it was kind of gross. There was a distinct line where the sock had been. Not very attractive. It did not feel badly, but it does feel a bit tight and looks bad.Sorry, wish they worked for me. And wish I could return them. I cannot wear them like this.I bought some that were awesome. Could have sworn they were Dr. Scholls...Oh well. 2Socks have a very large, uncomfortable toe seam.On the plus side, these socks were the right size; they fit high enough and stay up well enough to wear with trousers without them sagging or riding down as the day wears on. However, these socks have an extremely large, uncomfortable toe seam. I thought that "diabetic" socks were supposed to be virtually seamless, or at least have very small, almost invisible seams. These socks definitely do NOT fit that criterion. I have tried wearing them inside out and that somewhat alleviates the problem, but does not solve it completely. In addition, the material is thinner than I expected. I probably will not buy these again. 2Not stretchy enough in the calves, leaves marksThe tops are NOT like the ankle and crew socks with soft very stretchable tops. Instead the fabric is not soft and stretchy. In fact, the tops are for very small calves. These socks left indentations in my calves after just 30 minutes of wear. I will be returning these as I am very unhappy with these. I am very disappointed as I like the soft gray and pink colors. 1MehThe older diabetic socks worked better for me. These have a hem at the top that binds my ankles. I have large calves and these aren't "relaxed" enough to fit comfortably. I'm sort of disappointed. 3
