Good flavor as long as you do not brew it too longFlavor is overall good, this is supposed to be a smoky tea, but it is not overly so. My standard of comparison was Peet's Russian Caravan (A chain coffee and tea store similar to star bucks). The reason for 4 stars if you brew it too long it gets bitter. I never noticed that with Peets tea or the Twinings Russian Caravan that I was able to get years ago.4Comes in plastic bagThe tea is quite good but I had selected this provider because I thought that it would come in a metal tin. I does not. One needs to provide some means of storing this if you get more than you can use quickly.4A pound of joy!This tea is one of my favorites. It has a subtle smoky flavor to it but it is not too strong. It's great getting a pound of loose leaf tea in one bag for such a great price as well. Many teas of this quality are sold in such small and expensive amounts it is ridiculous.5Great tea at a great price.Russian Caravan has been my favorite tea for years, but so hard to find! I am really pleased with my order. It has that wonderful smokey aroma and flavor that I was longing for. The quantity is very large, and the tea is very strong. It's been stinking up my cabinet. 16 oz is a lot of tea. Especially when the tea smells like dried meat. I've had russian caravan blends from other suppliers before, but I've never had one that smelled like this.2But the product itself is excellent.Delicious tea, just the right amount of smokiness. I only give it four stars because there is some confusion about pricing between the seller's site and Amazon: sometimes one is more, sometimes the other. But the product itself is excellent.4
