Think NotI have to say, I am a rich bold flavor coffee drinker so my opinion may be a bit jaded. I just don't like coffee that say dark roast and it taste weak. This coffee was mediocre at best. Not sure why all the positive reviews on this coffee. I thought it had a very weak taste almost like Dunkin Donuts coffee which is just colored water with a hint of coffee. Guess I will stick to my favorite Newman's Own. I was hoping this would be a cheaper replacement for Newman's. Now I have to drink all this or throw it away, which I'm too cheap to do lol. If you like weak, restaurant style coffee then this is the brand for you. I bought the dark roast, can't imagine the weak flavor of the regular roast. Amazon has their own brand of coffee now and I like that one much better than this.2Not Strong EnoughI have had Community Coffee strong blends previously (a year or so ago) and enjoyed them. However, for some reason this order lacked the punch of the previous dark roasts, and is not nearly as good as the Green Mountain Dark Magic. I even tried brewing a smaller quantity (8 oz.) using the strong setting on the Keurig and it still doesn't pack the punch of Dark Magic. I want to feel the hair growing on my chest and this brand doesn't do it now, whether it is a temporary thing or not. I'm sticking with Dark Magic as my primary coffee, but am trying the Amazon Solimo Dark Roast (it's cheaper than the others) when it arrives in 2 days...We'll see how it compares in flavor to both.3YumLove me some community coffee- and I m grateful this now out of state Louisiana girl can easily buy it!!5Rather ChunkyLove the flavor of Community Coffee. Will pay extra for the flavor and this package has both decaf for nighttime and dark for morning. I ve tried the Breakfast Blend and the Dark roast and while the flavor is great, there is plenty of it at the bottom of my coffe cup as all seven of the coffee pods have exploded or leaked. Rather frustrating to spoon out coffee grounds. Not my machine as I tested with another coffee pod and worked just fine. So 2 of 3 boxes are cheaply made.3Muddy Coffee Grounds in my CupWe've bought this brand for quite a while, but the latest batch seems defective - the small filter "envelope" inside seems to rupture frequently, causing a muddy stream of coffee grounds to flow into the cup. I thought at first maybe my Keurig coffee maker was acting up, so I used the smaller one I keep in my office. Same thing. Then I tried some Walmart brand K-cups in both machines - no problem.Pretty disappointed, because we've used Community Coffee K-cups for the last several years. I had another brand coffee here so after working on the coffee maker and having no results I put the other brand K-cup in that was purchased in a store and got a full cup. I can only guess the batch of K-cups from Amazon were old or something else was wrong with them but I will buy from stores from now on. I will only buy Community Coffee from now one.5You'd have to go to France for a better cup!Just yesterday, 06Jan, I received my first 3 boxes of Community House French Roast/Dark Roast K-cups (36 in all). This is now MY coffee for life. Background: Many years ago, I worked for a travel company that sent me to Nice, France for a 10 day training session. I stayed at the Ibis hotel, just down the hill from the office. I went to the restaurant the first morning and ordered a "full" cup of coffee. (Half cups and full cups. I had no idea why they broke it down like that) The coffee came and, of course it was French roast coffee (probably with a bit of Mediterranean flair) It was strong, but flavorful. Community House has created this French roast coffee with that flavor in mind. Granted it's a copy of what's served in the country's namesake, but the flavor reminded me of my trip. I've tried other "French Roast" coffees and the Community House is the closest one I've had to the cups I had in France. Keep it coming, C.H. Love it.5AMAZING Coffee Review Jan. 2020One of those things you try on accident and happen to find an amazing product, that s community coffee. This is one of the best tasting blends I have ever had and I ve had some of the best from around the world so I can compare without bias or an agenda other than to just say this is a really great all around coffee, have tried tons of various K cups but this just does not compare. This is the one I would give it a shot, there is no other coffee for me any longer! Some of their other blends are fantastic as well, especially the chicory blend.5
