recommendedI will stick with Carlson Salmon oil instead of all the available fish oils. It was recommended to me by my nutritionist, who put a lot of research into her recommendations. 5Even though Carlson brand is highly recommended, even from my doctorEven though Carlson brand is highly recommended, even from my doctor, I just can't tolerate the constant fish burps with only a single daily capsule use. Not had that from some brands, so I know its with this brand. Tried adjusting the time of day taking it, refrigerating it, taking it with food, etc., but nothing helps. Had to stop and go to a different brand, unfortunately. Really wanted to like this product. 2Not all Salmon oili did not like the fact that the label says Salmon oil but the ingredient list shows that it is not pure Salmon Oil. In addition the company does not have certification from independent organization of the product's quality. 3Not easy to swallow!These pills are very large...An inch long. I appreciate I was able to return them. 1Good Salmon OilI have used this brand for many years and I think this is their best Salmon oil. 5And this is what I think after 20 yearsI've been taking this product for over 20 years. When my doc first recommend then, I started frowning at him every time I saw him. They made me burp a d the taste was awful? Gross!!! Add to that, I don't like fish to start with! Then albertsons left town. Then Sprouts moved in! We went in. Hubby off in one direction, me to the supplements. Uh oh! Huge selection!!! I found a person who worked this section only. I told him my problem. The used to carry an orange flavored salmon, Amazon has a lemon flavor. The packaging was just like this one flavored!, I must have still had a concerned look because he said to start with the little bottle. If after finishing the little bottle, l was still unhappy, they would refund me money.I've not had and fishy burping with this product. If you do, try the flavored verity.That's what I did. I'm and will continue using this product. My doctor approves and only just recently, recommend I start taking 2 a day.This is a wonderful product! At a grand price (about a buck cheaper than Sprouts AND I I don't have to get dressed a go there in 100+ degree heat! It's right hot in north Texas right now!) AND saves gas money too!This is my humble opinion today! So, heck yes, try it!I was very happy with the timeliness and packaging from the vender too! 5Five StarsThis is the best salmon oil product available.Norwegian salmon by Carlson is excelled quality. 5False Advertising!!I honestly don t want to leave one star!The reason why I purchased this bottle in particular, was because it states 1000mg!! The picture even shows 1000mg. When I received both bottles, they state 500mg, no EPA & DHA, and to take two a day... if I wanted to take two a day I would have purchased the other brand! 1Very pleasedGreat Product, I can't digest fish oil pills very well. So I tried these Salmon oil and have no problems. My doctor wanted me taking fish oil daily and was glad that I found these. Had a hard time finding Salmon oil in stores so was please that I found this product. 5Lowered my CholesterolFor anyone with slightly elevated Cholesterol, taking these capsules should get you score back in the accepted range. I take 2 salmon oil caps at night and 2 flax oil caps in the morning. (You could take 4 salmon oil caps in total daily if you prefer.) This lowered my cholesterol by about 30 - 40 points. I have not had any problems with aftertaste. I have been taking it for about 6-7 years. I don't take any other cholesterol medicines, but I do restrict the amount of meat I eat. 5
