Very competitive priceWe had been purchasing Pediasure previously. Being that this product is not exactly cheap, it is good to be able to save even a few dollars here and there. We found the price for this Boost brand by Nestle to be the lowest we could find.5LeakingPackage came with 4 packs of 4 each as expected. Only 2 packs are in good shape. The other 8 drinks have swelling and leakage.1Packaging is a problem, threw away over halfThere's a big problem with the way the packaging is on these drinks. Several had suspicious brown crusty things on unopened drinks up by the mouthpiece, some leaked and the last package (all of them unopened) i found on my shelf covered in mold that clearly started at the top of one of the drinks, that looked like orange spray foam. Had to throw over half of them away in total. Definitely will not buy again.2Pros/Cons to Kid EssentialsMy kid liked drinking these, but still preferred the taste of Sidekicks by Pediasure. In comparing the nutritional content of the two products, I would say Pediasure won, but not necessarily in every ingredient nor by any overwhelming margin. There are pros and cons to both, whether comparing nutritional value, sugar/carbohydrate content, calories, etc. However, price-wise, at about $5 for four 8+ ounce cans, Kid Essentials beats Pediasure which costs about $36 for a 24-pack of 8-ounce bottles from the local Sam's Club/BJs.4Containers busted openSo this is a great price when you put it up against pediasure... too bad we had to throw away over half of the contents because they were busted open and leaking.2My little girl has been rocking these for the last 5 months...lemme tell ya....She is long, strong, and lean! She can drink her shake on the way to BAC...and be fully satisfied and ready to be a happy, healthy Kinder-now-First-Grader! Keep in mind, she has (mostly) healthy and balanced meals...and we are lucky enough to have her be almost as happy with raw cauliflower as with Doritos (a RARE treat).....but these just seem to do the trick...quick and easy.5Kids love it!!Our daughters are 6 and 2. We started getting these 2 years ago when our daughter was 4 and she was getting up earlier for K4. These drinks helped her not lose weight and fill her up for breakfast. Our overly picky 2 year old loves them too! They are a steady drink in our household.5Great price!Walmart randomly stopped stocking these and my daughter brings one everyday for lunch at school. My daughter is a bit smaller (medical stuff) and can t drink cows milk. This has been a great alternative for her to bring each day to school. When Walmart got rid of them I was pleasantly surprised to find them on here for much cheaper and available for a monthly delivery! I don t have to think about making sure we have them, because they just show up!5Great Caloric Boost for Underweight KidsMy 10 y.o. daughter was losing weight and dropped steeply from the 8th to the 1st percentile for BMI, so her CHOP GI specialist recommended adding a high-calorie supplement in addition to increasing regular "food calories" in her diet. The doctor had given us a variety of samples and this is the one my daughter likes the most. She drinks 2 of these every day in addition to her regular meals and snacks-- NOT as a replacement meal or snack-- per doctor's orders. She is gaining the weight back and looks and feels healthier since adding these into her diet.4Picky Kid Loves ItMy kid is super picky, vegetarian, and has a strong sensory aversion to a lot of the meal supplemen solutions out there. This one was recommended by our pediatrician and it has been so successful that we have it on auto delivery.5
