Great for plantar fasciitis sufferers!At the moment I'm having a nasty bout of plantar fasciitis. I originally bought a set of Superfeet insoles, and they were horrible. Hard as bricks, and they caused my bad foot and both knees a great deal of pain. I then ordered the Powerstep Pinnacle Breeze insoles. Aaaaaaaahhhhhh. They have the right combination of support and cushioning. I still have some discomfort from the plantar fasciitis, but at least I can function while the problem slowly heals. Take it from someone who has first hand (or first foot) experience...these Powerstep insoles are what you want if you have heel pain from plantar fasciitis. 5Very comfortable insoles!I have been using very stiff insoles sold to me by a podiatrist but haven't gotten any relief from plantar fasciitis--in fact, the problem seemed to be getting worse. Based on the positive reviews for these insoles, I decided to order them and see if they made any difference. My feet were feeling much better after a few hours and have continued to improve over the past week. I'm so glad I gave them a try! I don't know how well they will hold up over time (some reviews indicate they fall apart quickly), but I am willing to replace them frequently rather than have sore feet. Another plus, I purchased the "Breeze" variety and they definitely are cooler than the insoles I had previously. 5Huge Improvement!Bought these based on a podiatrist recommendation from a youtube video on plantar fasciitis and they've worked wonders. Noticed immediate relief when I put them in my shoes. I think my exact words were "Ahhhhh". Still have the PF, but it's much improved. Make sure your shoes have removable soles, because they will have to come out to make room for these. If you have PF, find the video by searching "Plantar Fasciitis Explained by a Podiatrist". 5Made my Brooks runners squeak like a dog toy!I have an ACL tear that is not repairable. I wear Brooks tennis shoes and Powerstep insoles at the advice of my ortho specialist, and the combination has kept me moving for years. I do have trouble with my feet getting hot, so I thought I would try the Breeze insole to see if they helped. Here's the issue: THEY SQUEAK. Like, they squeak so loud people were looking at me when I walked across a room. It was awful. I tried every trick suggested online, and they still squeaked. I replaced the Pinnacle Breeze with the regular Powerstep insole, and not a sound. The product itself is fine, though I'm not sure I noticed any more breathability. If you're putting them on top of an insole, they may be okay. But if you're replacing an insole, as most people do, BEWARE. 1Best Orthotic hands down!The absolute best orthotic for standing /walking all day and managing foot pain. I have a job that requires me to be on my feet all day. I have been using these orthotics for years and love them. I have tried cheaper insoles that were easy to grab at Walmart and advertised all the right things but did not deliver. Recently I developed severe foot pain because of heel spurs and plantar fasciitis. I thought I would try a different orthotic due to the intense pain. I paid for an insert that was twice as expensive. Big mistake. The new expensive insoles did not help at all. I was due a new pair of power steps so I ordered the Powerstep pinnacle breeze. The first day of being on my feet all day was no problem. Additionally, after wearing the power steps for three days the foot pain decreased significantly. Thanks Power Step for quality at a good price! 5Helped my plantar fasciitisI had gone a year with severe plantar fasciitis...so much so that I couldn't go for walks and even walking across the room was painful. I tried several different inserts and none of them really helped. I read in runner's magazine about this insole and started using yet in July 2018. Combined with stretching, this insole finally helped me overcome my issue. It is almost a year later and I still use the insoles -- but no foot pain. I'm back to power walks and biking. What is key was the insole AND the stretching exercises recommended by my doctor. I would highly recommend this product. But if you expect it alone to solve your problem...think again. It is a great tool for helping you get there. My only complaint is the price. I got my first pair at ~$30 and now they are over $40. 4So Far So GoodI am thin athletic person with one leg shorter than 9mm. So this review would not be ideal if you are over weight and inactive. Over a one year period, I have bought so many pairs of expensive insoles. That includes:CurrexSole RunPro Medium ArchCurrexSole ActivePro Medium ArchCurrexSole ActivePro Low ArchSpenco Total Support OriginalA $300 podiatrist created insolePowerstep Pinnacle BreezeSof Sole Airr GelWhile none has been a magic bullet to correct my faulty bio mechanics but they all help. I learned from the podiatrist that I needed an insole with arch support on both feet. My left foot arch has collapsed. But what she produced did not have any heel support. So I went to Powerstep Breeze and Spenco Original. They both gave better arch support and overall comfort. You can just put them underneath your feet (without the shoes) and see how they hug your feet; for me it is satisfactory. I additionally wear a 9mm on my left so it distorts the balance between the two sides. 5AMAZING fix for plantar fasciitisI have terrible plantar fasciitis. I have for years. I love to run, so it can be quite painful. Every time I wanted to train for a run, I would have to stop because of the pain. I got a cortisone shot once and that was HORRIBLE. I found these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. I do not have any pain when I wear these. I would get two pairs for your running shoes, and whatever shoes you wear day-to-day. They have been a miracle for me. The plantar fasciitis is gone.BUT a warning: Make sure you check and keep an eye to see when they're worn out. The first set I got wore out and for a week I was running and having serious metatarsal pain in my feet and dealing with shin splint-like pain. I realized it was because they were worn down, replaced them, and the problem went away soon enough.To sum it up: great for runners or anyone with flat feet, who deal with plantar fasciitis. 5Good, but needs more cushion... still shopping aroundGood, but needs more cushion, and the arch is too stiff. Doesn't quite perfectly contour my foot and feels like I am walking on a bubble in the arch of my foot, which makes me take them out of shoes periodically. The complete opposite of the intent..which I would think they would add comfort and reduce discomfort. hm... Still shopping around for other options... 3Legs feel better quickly!It s been a week. Before, my legs hurt: calf to knee, and especially my knee pit, and my feet and heel were constantly in pain and they were never comfortable. I had my massage therapist working on my legs and feet and we were trying to figure out what made my legs hurt so bad. She suggested finding some good shoe insoles that had good support.First day, they fit right into my shoes and I didn t have to cut it down to make it fit. I started wearing them to work and left thinking I should have brought a spare pair of shoes in case my feet needed a break (the directions suggested only wearing them 3-4 hours to start with), but I only had the shoes on my feet for the day. I made it through the day and my feet actually felt better already!Fast forward to now a week of wearing them almost everyday. My leg pain is much better. My knee pit where the muscle/tendon felt like it was pulled tight is gone, the heels and feet are much better as well!If you haven t tried this insole, and you have feet, heel, and/or leg pain, I would suggest these ones! 5
