It's a maxi padThick pads that worked postpartum. It does what a maxi pad should do. I also tried the pull on disposable underwear. That worked too so I suggest if you're thinking about postpartum wear, consider both. I ended up using these since I didn't have a ton of stuff postpartum. These work like they did in high school! 5TerribleI wanted to love tgese cause i justchad a baby. But tgese are the worst pads ever. Theycsay up to 10 hr protection. Im lucky to wear it for more than an hour. The cotton itself inside the pad seperates and clumps up. Its not a good pad at all!! Save your money. I have a whole pack im likely to never use. 1And the delivery service was great! I don't go to the store very often because I suffer from ibs and I get ibs attacks if I attempt to go out. So I was in luck when I saw this deal. Thank you! And the delivery service was great ! 5The Underappreciated Maxi.I spent my teenage years in Kotex overnights... without wings. I used to affectionately refer to them as "king-sized mattresses". Having never desired to enter the realm of tampons, I eventually progressed to the "ultra-thin" overnights, with wings. These overnights were such a good deal, that I thought I would take a chance on a second go-round with the "mattresses". Surprisingly, these are not like I remembered. They feel very comfortable (not like a diaper!), and I don't find myself self-consciously obsessing over the unattractive "pad line" being seen through the seat of my pants. Perhaps it's because, at 37, I'm not so prone to "self-conscious obsessing", but I also really think they've improved upon the original product. I'll definitely be purchasing again. 4Great product, deal, & program!With three women in the house, this deal is exceptional. Not only is the price a great deal, the fact that I don t have to run to the store every time we need these is priceless. They are perfect for making padsicles. These were a lifesaver after childbirth. 5Finally, peace of mind at night!Now that I'm getting older, my monthly cycle gets a bit dicey. I started using these after a few night time leaks. I'm not going to lie---these are HUGE and long. You'll feel like you're wearing a diaper. You wouldn't want to wear these under dress pants, yoga pants or anything that would show a panty line. BUT, they are comfortable and the have saved me a few pairs of underwear and sheets. Yeah, gross--but you're obviously reading the review because you might have similar problems. :) 5My favorite pads!These babies catch a lot of blood. I use them day and night, because they're long enough and heavy enough to function as an overnight pad, but comfy enough to help me through my heavy flow days without being too obtrusive! I think not. 5Great for daily use for medium-heavy cyclesThese were my go-to back up pads when I'm concerned a tampon won't do the job alone. I used to have really heavy periods and these would always save the day when my primary product wasn't enough. I have lighter periods now so I find these are a bit of overkill, but again, I used these as a secondary form of protection. If you have moderate flow periods, these are probably right up your ally if you don't plan to use anything but a pad. Now that my periods are lighter, I find that the always ultra-thins are effective as a secondary precaution when I'm out running errands, at work, school etc. In comparison to other always lines, e.g. infinity, these don't have a lot of "breathing room" or what you might call ventilation. They're no longer my go-to product because my needs have changed, but they are reliable. 5
