Smells like Play Doh. YUCK!Smells like play doh. Consistency is not like usual body scrubs and is less course and did not have as much oil asa others which I prefer. I am in sun all day and my skin gets really dry and I prefer when there is oil feel when I get out of shower which gets absorbed quickly. I will not be buying again and prefer the other cucumber sea salt products sold on amazon. 1Great moisturizing scrub for handsI really like this scrub and it's a great price. I recently began a job that involves a lot of paper cuts and pretty sever drying of my skin so I decided I needed to find something that would scrub away the dead skin and callouses, help heal and moisturize to prevent them altogether. I was using De Ja Vu Green Tea Dead Sea Salt body scrub (love it), but it's almost twice as much money as the Alba Hawaiian Body Scrub so I figured what the heck maybe I'll find a cheaper gem and I believe I did. When you open it there will be a ton of oil at the top so be careful or you will be an oily mess. I tried to mix it in with the salt as much as I could and then put some on my hands and started to scrub. Make sure you rinse well to ensure you get all of the oil off, but after you're done you don't even feel like you need lotion. The granules of salt are a bit larger then in other salt scrubs, but I have no issue with it. They aren't to rough because of the oil and it actually helps heal any cuts.The oils are amazing and I personally don't feel greasy at all after I rinse, just really well moisturized. As I've said before I use this only on my hands, but it would wonderful as a full body scrub as well. 5Just for being cruelty-free it deserves 5 star review!I am enjoying this body scrub very much. It does what it promises. My skin gets smooth. I love the scent and the fact it is a cruelty-free product.The product arrived on time and it was very well packaged. 5EXTREMELY OILYIt s good and smells nice but I don t like that it s so oily otherwise I would ve given it 5 stars..Update I had initially given the product 4 stars but now I'm so disappointed in how extremely oily it is and how the product itself does not mention it. I used it once 2 days ago and my whole tub is beyond oily, so much that anyone can slip and fall and badly injure themselves.Will not buy again 2Smooth skin finallyI stay dehydrated because I inhale coffee and monsters and wash my hands like there's a plague going around. My skin cracks and bleeds in the winter and at 32 I normally look like I have the hands of a 50 yr old smoker. Yep, that bad. I'm nervous even when not consuming caffeine and often bite my nails and have self-inflicted injuries on my fingertips often. Because this has salt, any open wounds will burn, but it does seen to help them heal faster. More importantly, this exfoliates that dead dull outer layer of skin and leaves your skin feeling hydrated. Be sure to not soap after this or you'll wash off the great oil/hydration. Oat dry. You may feel a little oily after your shower but it soaks in super fast and my skin looks better than it did in my 20s. 5This is a great product for my skinThis was delivered as scheduled and this time the product was packed correctly and non of the container were leaking. This is a great product for my skin. All of the oils in seem to be exactly what my body needed. It is very oily so this does create an issue in the bath tub making it slippery and clogging the drain when used daily. A consequence that I am willing to deal with due to the wonderful improvement in my skin. 5Slimy goo, salt crystals too largeI wish I had paid more attention to the other reviewers. I ve tried some good salt scrubs and was searching for better - THIS ISN T ONE! The oils will not wash off, you WILL need soap to get the slimy residue off your hands after using or you will leave greasy stains on everything. The salt crystals are way too large and will roll around instead of gently scrubbing. If you have used good quality exfoliators before, do not buy this stuff. If you just want to put baby oil on your skin, this is what you have in this lousy product. 1Amazing mix of cleaning, moisturizing and exfoliating.My skin becomes very dry, irritable and rough very quickly - no matter how much water I drink. This is a remarkable mix of exfoliation AND hydration. The sea salt definitely scrubs off the dead skin and leaves everything smooth. The oils make sure the sea salt is lubricated/doesn t rip off skin and then the oils stay behind to ensure skin is moisturized. I can literally see the water bead up on any ski . Some people may not like that - and that s ok. This product isn t for them. For me, it leaves my skin extremely smooth and almost glowing. I love the smell but that s a personal preference. Just be careful not to use too much or be too rough on areas with thin skin. I usually shake it before use. 5In the Shower, Skin RefresherAfter the shower, I grab a few fingers full and rub on my torso, arms legs and feet. The grainy texture is nice and dissolves into the skin with a little rubbing. Granules left behind are wiped off with the towel. Leaves my skin shiney, smooth and the scrubbing makes the skin tingle. Very good product. 5best salt crubFavorite salt scrub of all time! Leaves skin butter soft, lightly moisturized and smelling faintly like a tropical island. For the ladies - if using before shaving, make sure to wash ALL the salt off your whole body before shaving, and definitely don't use after shaving until the next day, haha. If you've ever jumped in the ocean after shaving, you'd get similar results. It's better used every other day, alternating with shaving schedule. I'm addicted to Lush's salt scrub but it costs about 10x as much as this one, so I prefer to indulge in buying this one and slathering it all over, guilt free! 5
