Happy to find these!I had used, and loved, a very similar product that is now discontinued. Bought a pair of these to try them out. Received them today, wore them for several hours and am back ordering five more pair. This style insert works very well with my plantar fasciitis and I can wear any shoes I want again. They're very comfortable, much more so than the custom insoles I had at one time. I'm delighted to find these, especially for this price! 5Plantar Fascitis is AlleviatedMe: 60 years old, size 13 feet. Recently, I've struggled with plantar fascitis. I go about 3 miles a day walking the dog, and experienced a lot of heel pain after sitting or sleeping. I tried my old custom orthotics, not much help. These were so cheap I decided to try a pair. I bought the 7-12 size, and they work fine in my size 13 shoes. The heel gel pad is kind of sticky on the bottom, so they stay in place nicely; no problem with their 3/4 length. After just 2 days, I'm experiencing diminished pain. I estimate that 70% of my heel pain is gone. I did not remove the regular inserts in my Reebok sneakers. 5Painful feet? These Help.I'm on my feet sometimes from 8 AM until 3 AM, sometimes with breaks here and there and sometimes with less downtime. I started having planar fascitis (sp?) issues, which is painful. These help quite a lot and I actually have several pairs of them, one pair for each pair of work boots or shoes. They seem to fit as expected, I just got them out of the packaging and slid them into my boots. 5Feet hurt? Yes so do mine but your mileage may varyIf you are reading this, then you know why you are looking for a solution. Yes, my feet hurt too, so I know why this is important. I have tried a few different options, from Dr. Scholl's Plantar Fascitis insole and their gel heel pad. They both seem to provide temporary relief from the pain associated with MY condition but there are some compromises with both solutions.The Dr Scholl's version is full length and made my shoes too tight at the toes and the heel too shallow so when waking the back of my foot would pop in/out of my shoe and the toes were being crushed. It was suggested to yank the factory insole out but it is glued in and if I were to forcibly remove them, I may not be able to put them back should I want/need to.Fast forward to the AirPlus version. Keep in mind EVERYONE'S foot is different, how one's daily routine is different so keep in mind what worked for me may or may not work for you. I was concerned that these may not fit or position the support well because it is a universal product afterall. I normally wear a 8.5 mens shoe and since this covered such a relatively wide range size 7-12, I was worried the arch support won't match up.Since this is a 3/4 length insert, it doesn't crowd the toes - good thing. I was able to fit these into my daily sports shoes without crushing my toes. The insert doesn't move around while my foot is in the shoe - also a good thing. The arch support I feel is compromised meaning it isn't high enough for my flat feet. So it provides some support but really not enough. I think the hard plastic insert is too flexible. Again, your feet may or may not need more support.PROS: cost - very reasonable, fit - didn't crush my toes and I did not have to remove the factory insole from my sport shoes, some temporary relief from heel pain during useCONS: doesn't offer enough support for my particular needs, a little too wide at the heel for my feet.OVERALL: if you need an inexpensive insert to help support your feet and maybe offset some plantar fascitis pain, then these are for you. 4Excellent affordable shoe insert for plantar fasciitisAffordable, extremely helpful and comfortable shoe insert for plantar fasciitis - it works better and costs less than others I've tried. I really like how it doesn't take up unnecessary space in your shoes - my shoes fit the same as always, except having much better support for my plantar fasciiae and my heels. Highly recommended. 5A+ For Bone SpursI have recently been diagnosed with a bone spur as a result of plantar fasciitis anyone who has this condition understands that it is quite painful.This is a particularly annoying problem because I am a nurse and spend a great deal of my day on my feet. I have tried a number of insoles that promised luxurious comfort however they did not meet the mark. The air plus really delivers. I have subsequently bought two more pairs for other shoes. The Airplus seem to be the only product that provides relief gets me through my shift without leaving me lame. My Bureau drawer looks like a wasteland for Orthopedic inserts I'm so thrilled to have finally found something that really works! 5The best orthotic I've tried!The only orthotic that works for me, and I have tried a lot of different kinds! I have had plantar fasciitis on and off for years, and these keep my feet happy! I do replace them after a few months because the air cushion gets a little deflated. But would probably not have to do that if your feet were not that bad. Mine are really bad. My podiatrist is also a fan of these- says they are better than a lot of the so-called 'custom" orthotics. 5Minimal arch support if any. Not sure this is what it says it is.Heel is too bouncy and too thick which is destabilizing. Arch support is far less than you would think by looking at them. I think it's basically non-existent. May not be good for you if you need strong arch support or any reasonable amount of stability. The arch illusion is a thin piece of bowed upwards plastic that bends with the slightest weight which doesn't even extend to the inner part of the arch, which is where the bulk of the foot's arch exists. Then there's a slight amount of padding where that actual support should be. I need strong arch support. These may be useful for some people. But I definitely see why some people couldn't wear them more than a few hours. I noticed they directly caused me leg and joint pain within a few minutes and took them out of my shoes, also the aforementioned loss of stability from the crazy thick bouncy material. What a strange product. I'm cured of buying super-cheap inserts, though, from now on. 1The only inserts for plantar fasciitis that you will ever needI have probably spent a hundred dollars on half a dozen different brands of inserts, desperately looking for anything that will help with my severe heel and arch pain (I have Achilles tendinitis and plantar fasciitis in both feet). These inserts are amazing and are so comfortable! They fit in my boots, sneakers, ballet flats, etc. There isn't another insert that even comes close to providing the comfort, support and relief that this one does. AND the padding doesn't decrease over time and with daily use. I wear these everyday and the cushion in the heel is just as good after 8 months as it was the first time that I wore them. I was so satisfied that I purchased 8 more pairs to stock up on them for fear that they'd suddenly stop making them and I wouldn't be able to find them anymore. These inserts have made regular daily activities on my feet that were grueling and sometimes just impossible due to the amount of pain I was in, both possible and painfree! I can't recommend these highly enough! 5my feet feel so much better after using theseWow, these have saved my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and have custom foot pads from my doctor. Those started to hurt and I had to go to Vegas for a conference, and did a lot of walking. So I needed something that would help with that. I switched them out and man, my feet feel so much better after using these. I will order more of these! Great product and lasted the 30 miles I walked in a week at the conference so far. 5
