Thank you!! 5Great Support, Multiple Points of AdjustmentI bought this AFO stabiliser after having shattered my entire right foot and ankle in a very severe car crash. My surgeon said it's too soon to invest in expensive braces through insurance, so I decided to try out a few of the more inexpensive braces here on Amazon just to see what's comfortable and helpful, sort of as a guide for the future. My foot is partially paralysed and is a 'drop' foot now, so I just needed a little help to keep it from dragging with the little bit of walking that I'm able to do. I've tried several different AFO devices but really haven't been very pleased with them, either because they are very flimsy and offer little lateral support, or because they're too stiff and restrictive laterally. I really like this little brace because it offers multiple points of adjustment and comes with easy-to-understand instructions on how to put it together and how to adjust to your foot and leg, and also because it gives me just a little bit of extra support with the figure-8 band that comes up over the foot. I also liked it that the seller included a little personal note along with this item in its box. That was just a really nice touch, and was really appreciated! This is a very helpful product coming from what seem like very kind people. Thank you! 5Not worth it.Sorry, my honest opinion, is that there was nothing good, great or amazing about this product. It did not help at all. Wayyyh to bulky. Could not even put my shoe on. 1can hopefully wear in any shoeI haven't really tried this item yet. Although I think the manufacturer does a bad job of documenting.It took me awhile to figure out how it works. Seems very good after I figured it out. This is how it works for me. At least this is my impression. The pictures of the strap on a bare foot shows how the device fits inside the shoe and over the sock. To me the pics of putting the 'socked' foot into the shoe and brace are misleading. They don't show the figure eight strap. They only show securing the socked foot into the brace. I think these photos are very misleading on how this brace works. If you don't use the figure eight strap the plastic is too lightweight to offer any help. After getting it on it with the strap inside the shoe, it feels good and is very lightweight. This is only the first day. If I find problems with it I'll update my review. I don't think the manufacturer does a good job explaining for english speaking users. 4The BestI have been wearing a brace of this nature for over 15 years for "Foot Drop." this is the Best one I have had to support my leg/foot, ever. The Medical community will RIP YOU OFF with braces that are NOT built this good and charge 15X the price. 5Fit and useWorks great. It is light and easy to use 4
