Customer Reviews

Watch out which AbriForms you getThis breathable fabric stuff has no real strength, so my tabs ripped completely off as I was tryin to get them on. I guess if you are sensitive to plastic, these might be an option. Abena makes an M4 with a plastic backing, which I thought I was ordering. Those are darn good. I am sending the rest of these back. 1Cheap for a reasonSorely disappointed. While the absorption rating seems accurate, the tape uses a mediocre adhesive and attaches to the fibrous diaper directly, which leads to a much weaker grip than on other diapers, where a plastic-coated front panel allows for a very strong (and re-sealable) grip. On the bright side, the lack of any plastic whatsoever in the construction does lead to a comfortable and noise-free garment.I have to imagine that anyone attempting to use these on a continuous basis would go through a frankly absurd number in a day. Possibly suitable for those who retain sufficient control to make use of a toilet while in the home, and will be in public spaces that accommodate ready changes - don't expect the tapes to hold up to a full load for any length of time. 2Felt like wearing a diaperIf you are looking for discreet bladder protection, look elsewhere. They were hard to put on and the adhesive only stuck once, so if you had to reposition it, you are out of luck. It does feel like it would be very absorbent, so they would be okay overnight, but you would need to have someone help you into them. They are also bulky and anyone looking at you would know that you were wearing them. 2If you want to make your caregiving easier....Mother is completely bedbound and before finding this product it was a constant battle to keep down the rashes (and yes her skin ws cleaned properly). I can not say enough about any of the Abena incontinence diapers and pull ups. The are the BEST!!!!. The fit is perfect and when it is removed, the diaper can folded and rolled into itself containing all the contents inside. The velcro type tabs mske easy removal snd reattachment several times. On the und ER side of the security tabs is a blue tab that is completely remove able and is sticky on the under side. I use these tabs to help secure various locstions of the disper when rolling and folding prior to discsrding. This procedure keeps all contaminates and odors on the inside.I will use no other incontinence product because they just don't measure up. ALSO, when the skin is cleaned and rinsed well, mother has NO rashes nor skin break down. Health care professionals are amazed at the health of her skin. And because of the amount of urine the Abri-Form contains, I no longer need to do changes during the night. She has worn this diaper for as long as 16 hours (she sleeps a lot) however I'm most comfortable changing after 12 hours. In the long run that saves money, saves the mother from being distutbed while sleeping) and they save me (the 24/7 caregiver) a lot of extra work. I also no longer need to do clothing and bed covering changes the next day. In fact, I never have any leak through at all. 5We ran out for a few nights - my reorder was delayed in the mail- and I was reminded how wonderful these areMy mother is bedridden, and we use these diapers at night. We ran out for a few nights - my reorder was delayed in the mail- and I was reminded how wonderful these are. I don't know how they do it, but even the odor is less in the morning with these diapers than it is with the less expensive brand I use during the day. My mother is a small woman (114 pounds), but even she soaks through regular diapers (not these) within a few hours. I change her every two and a half to three hours during the day (using a different brand), but at night (because of these diapers) I am able to let her sleep a full night without having to change her in the middle of the night. For the last couple nights, when we didn't have these diapers to use, I was reminded how amazing these are, and I wanted to give them some feedback. In the morning - with the other brand - I could smell the urine before I even opened the door to her room, and she was so soaked that I had to change out all the bedding (including her underpad, sheets, and mattress pad). However, with these diapers, I don't notice an overpowering smell in the morning. Leakage of urine, with these diapers, is also very unusual. It's rare to even have the underpad be damp at all in the morning. We LOVE these diapers. When the UPS man brought them to the door yesterday, I actually broke out into the Hallelujah chorus. Seriously, I am NEVER going to be without these again. Two nights without them was horrible. I am stocking up. Words can not describe how these make our lives easier and my mother's rest better. 5Very absorbent but don't stay up.These are the most absorbent diapers I have found, they absorb a huge amount of liquid. But they really need to be worn with plastic pants or a diaper cover as they don't stay up well on their own. The adhesive taps don't stick very well to the cloth like outer lining so its hard to fit them tight enough to have them stay up, especially when they are become full and heavy. 4One of the best brands of diapers I have ever used, as a heavy wetter that means a lot!best diaper I have ever used. Holds nearly 5 liters of urine. As a heavy wetter when I do have accidents my entire bladder volume seems to empty over a short period of time. These are one of the few brands that can handle my heavy wettings. Wellness Briefs is the other brand I count on. I have also found that if you add a baby diaper to your adult diapers, it really helps. My favorite baby diapers to use are Huggies Overnites size 6, Pampers Cruisers Size 6 and Pampers Easy-up's 4t-5t. I take a razor blade and cut several rows of half inch cuts all along the plastic waterproof lining of the baby diaper or toddler pull-up and of course cut off the tape tabs from the baby diapers as they will poke you if left in. Then lay the baby diaper down in the front of your adult diaper if your male, or in the middle between your legs for females. They will boost what your diaper can hold by 1-2 extra wettings depending on how much you go during each accident. But with the Abena and Wellness Briefs I don't need to use any baby diapers as they hold plenty on their own. I hope this review helps. :) 5glue sucksgood diapers but seriously the glue on the tabs is like post-it-note glue, you have exactly, specifically, precisely only ONE shot getting a tab into the perfect position the very first time you position it - if you have to readjust the tab EVEN ONCE you might as well throw the diaper away and start over with a new one because it will NEVER stay put again - the rest of the diaper is well made so i don't know why they can't buy better glue..... 2Skin breathesI am using a bunch of the incontinence products for my mother and for the night, so far, these are the best. I've been buying much more expensive products with similar features and sometimes had accidents or the sides opened during the night. These seem to work great (true, I always put a pad inside as well), but the sides are not made of that horrible plastic that makes her sweat and her skin red. They are awesome and would recommend 100%. I use the S size and they are actually great! 5Outstanding product well worth the price...Feb 22, 2015After trying this item for several weeks, I have revised my rating from 4 to 5 stars. My comments regarding the adhesive tabs are not valid. My initial difficulties were due to user inexperience. These diapers are far and away the best on the market, very, very satisfied.Excellent product, I have tried a lot of the "overnight" products and none of them have come close to this item. Admittedly it is pricey but you are really getting a premium product that does what it is supposed to. When they are very wet the cheaper "overnight" diapers tend to disintegrate when you are trying to remove them. This one absorbs very well all night and stays intact during removal.Would have given this item a 5 star rating if the adhesive tabs were longer and used a "velcro" type of closure so that checking and re-closing a diaper would be easier. 5
