Customer Reviews

these are perfect. Sizing is a bit larger than regular sizesThere is quite a bit of difference between these and the older version. I find that they hold a TON of liquid. If the person you are buying these for has a very heavy output of liquid, these are perfect. Sizing is a bit larger than regular sizes, so it's suggested to order one size down from your normal size. They are a bit pricy and unfortunately, no other place has them much cheaper. They are completely worth it though. The person that they are intended for has severe nighttime incontinence every night. These pads do the job perfectly. In the morning, when they are taken off, they do not leak any liquid at all. It is all completely absorbed. They rip off at the sides for easy removal. We recently had an issue with a new package we bought, where they were leaking every single night. After buying these for over a year, I was surprised and upset. I checked the package, and it seems as those ones were expired by almost two years. I contacted Abena and they gave me my money back, which was great! Overall, these are a fantastic product. If you or a loved one experiences severe incontinence, or even need them after pregnancy, these are perfect. 5Best incontinent disposable out there!Very durable, yet comfortable. Fits well on one who is obese. There is no leakage whatsoever. I couldn't be more pleased and have wasted a lot of money trying to find a product that works as well as this one does. Quite happy! 5This is exactly what we needed! I am the ...This is exactly what we needed! I am the caretaker for my father who has Alzheimers dimentia. We used to use a brief that worked as long as he "remembered" to change. As he has become more incontinent and more forgetful - we searched for other solutions. This is a brief that he can take on and off by himself. We tried Molicare Super-Plus Briefs Size Medium Pk/14 but found they were more of a diaper for someone who is bedridden and must be changed by a caretaker. The Abena is a pull on brief. This is an important distinction on this journey. 5but she was developing horrible rashes on her legs from sleeping in urine all ...I can't tell you how many different pull on adult incontinence underwear we have tried. Many have failed the test, leaking or just crumbling. A family member of mine has severe nighttime incontinence, as well as sleep apnea, so there is no waking her up, and she requires something that can hold quite a bit of liquid throughout the night. It was becoming a huge burden to wash sheets every night and she was soaked from head to toe. Not only is it embarrassing, but she was developing horrible rashes on her legs from sleeping in urine all night. As painful as it was for her pride, adult incontinence underwear (adult diapers) seemed to be the best option. We went through Tena ultra absorbent pads, Depends nighttime, Tranquility premium overnight pads, and Attends briefs. None of them could withstand the amount of liquid she would put out during the night and all of them ended up leaking. We were able to make die with a PUL cover up but it was irritating her skin so bad. I found these and despite the price, they have been absolutely incredible. Only one night she leaked and that was because the pad slipped in a weird direction overnight. Otherwise she's had dry nights and the pad is extremely absorbant. When it's taken off in the AM, it does not leak or anything. These are by far the best pads/adult diapers she has ever used. Highly recommend for someone who has a very high output of liquids. I also really like that they are super easy to remove. All you need to do is rip the sides and they come off. She hasn't needed to wear a PUL cover either. The inner pad is also very large, coming to the top of the front and back of the pull-up. I would not recommend this for someone with constant fecal issues, although there was one incident in that regard, and the pads did hold up well with no leakage. It was changed almost immediately after the incident so I can't say how well it would hold up overnight. They have small side "walls" that helped keep things in. 5New Smaller size! Beware!Abena has changed their product line, at least for this particular product. As soon as I opened the package I knew it was different. Here are the differences as compared with the previous product:New product #41085 Old product # 41075 (no longer manufactured)New product material is actually much softer than previousNew product is a smaller size. I have worn the medium comfortably for years but will now have to switch to Large. The product fits okay, just much tighter than I am used to. It just feels like I am going to bust out of these.New product, maybe because of the tighter fit, is less prone to leakage.Coverage on the backside, yes because of the smaller size, is skimpy.I have informed the seller, Northshore, and the sales staff is now aware of the different product and they were, as always, super helpful. Evidently Abena made this change about three months ago. Normally Abena always receives 5-stars from me but now reduced to 3 because of the unexpected size change. especially on a full case order. 3Nothing like picture on the packageI have tried every pull-up out there! My hubby has Alz and we needed extra, extra absorbent pull ups. Look no further! This is it. L3 is what I get. L is for large and true to size. 3 is absorbency. There is an L4 but they are diapers not pull ups. I ordered the L4 but bulky and hard to figure out. Nothing like picture on the package. In my opinion, the L4 would be for someone who is bedridden. He is not. Hope this helps the person such as I who ordered every pull up I saw until this right one came along. 5Not bad.I used to swear by these. I have had urinary incontinence at night, and these really absorb well. That would be the end of the story and 5 stars, but I just found something better - Depend Fit-Flex maximum absorbancy. The Abri's work so well, but I found that they didn't seal well around my legs, and I got some leakage when getting out of bed. Not much, but I had to put absorbent pads down to catch the leaks. I've used the Depend for about a week and am super happy with them. I'd say if you're happy with these, go at. 4Stop using dependsAccording to my mother and incontinent father , these are a vast improvement over Depends. My father would soak through Depends very easily and according to my mother they would fall apart and be a complete mess. Now I am hearing that by using the Abri Flex he can change just twice a day and keep clothes and bedding completely dry. They are very happy with this product. 5Fact is, these stupid things are GREAT!!!As a 6'3 and 220 lbs "manly man", I was resistant as hell on these. But more and more slight accidents were happening in the bowel department as my disease progressed, and practicality won over pride because I travel a lot on planes, and visit with a lot of people where a leak or accident can be mortally embarrassing.Fact is, these stupid things are GREAT!!! They pull on almost the same as regular underwear, no extra effort, and fit almost like regular underwear. A little cushion for my skinny butt :) I've only had "leak" issues so far, but these things soak up 100%, and there's no odor! I immeditately go and change, as I now carry a "diaper bag" with two more and wipes. They even retain fart odor! 5What happened? These feel lighter and hold far less than previous m3's.Dear Abena,Were these recently changed? My mother used to get through a whole day on three of these and now she's gone through three, in half a day, and they're leaking like crazy. These do better than the garbage you see advertised on tv, but they are a far cry from the M3's I've been buying consistently for the past two years.I won't be buying anymore unless I get an explanation for what has happened to what were once amazing adult diapers. Unfortunately, these cannot be trusted. 2
